He was paid right away for each of the times he had provided lawn maintenance service. I can't imagine why he would have suddenly stopped but the unprofessional ending to our maintenance agreement leads me to BEWARE of this company. They can't be trusted if you're looking for a long lasting trustworthy and professional company.

I live in the woods and have lots of trees to contend with. I love the trees. I love the shade. I love the woods. Most of them, we let do their natural thing, but some close to the house need some special attention. After my first experience with this crew I am confident in the degree of attention they give every single phase of their work, from cutting the trees, ensuring they don't damage septic tank / lines, etc., to dropping the limbs in safe places, preserving surrounding trees, to taking care of their own safety as well as any others around (me!), and cleaning up. They all communicated well with me to ensure they were doing what I wanted done. Two or three of the half dozen or so trees I wanted done in a particular way. There was no "we are the experts; go to the house!" attitude. It was, "we are the experts; help us see what do you want done and lets communicate to plan how best to meet those goals. There ya' go! I contacted Brad, the owner to come out and give an estimate. He was at my house the next morning, very knowledgable about the preparation, different types of grasses, maintance and the installation process. Why we made the decision to go with Southwest over the other companies, is that Southwest wasn't going to take down part of our fence to install sod or charge us an insane amount to till the yard when neither was necessary. Brad said our walk through gates were just fine and they could complete the job without taking any part of our fence down or making us install a drive through gate. After giving the go ahead, he and his crew were here that following evening prepping our yard and back the next morning installing sod. His crew completed our yard in a day and were very professional. We are very pleased with the completed work and would hire Southwest Landscaping again if we ever needed any work done and have already recommend the company to all my neighbors and friends.
