It was just ok. I expected more really. The passion fruit cheesecake I had was not that soft and not that hard but like cream cheese. Kind of dry. Did not try the Cinnabons .

What a magnificent display of an assortment of cookies, muffins, donuts and other sweet treats. The server was great and took the time to explain the different favors. Elected to get the donut with chocolate glaze with pistachio and red velvet cookie. The donut is dense but it's delicious. The red velvet cookie was so soft and just disintegrated in my mouth. I'm not one with a sweet tooth but I'd go back for more of those.

You can't help but stop at the window of chök and watch and they handcraft their chocolates, truffles & chocolate bars. And if that isn't enough, their giant funky Krönuts & Chökanias will definitely catch your attention!! You'll definitely want to try one of everything in the shop as everything smells, looks, and tastes divine!!

This is going to be real simple. This place is amazing. The only bad part was we waited two full days before going in after walking by it numerous times. It's on a little alleyway off the main streets and as soon as you walk by the smell of baked goods and chocolate fills the air. It's intoxicating. The beauty of the product also draws you in. You could go here everyday for a week and try a couple different things. They also have some boxes goods if you have the self control to bring some home or for a loved one. Seriously check your diabetes at the door Jon Hein and get ready to fall asleep Bababooey, you too shall enter when in Barcelona. Enjoy.

We were just walking the streets when this little window appeared with pop of colors in it that I just could not walk by it. At first I just stared but then finally took a step into the store. The glass vitrine revealed the most beautiful donuts and treats, hand decorated and just beautiful to look at. Donuts, Cruffins, Cronuts, chocolates were put on display. Behind the bar you see a wall full of hanging donuts which I find not only original but also a good use of space. You would think that the prices are crazy but they're not (median price 3 Euro), which is less than some coffee shops in the States. Adjacent to the store you'll find the kitchen where all these treats are made daily. They also have a a coffee machine so you can get a pastry and your coffee. The downside is the that there is not much space inside beside a small bar with chairs in the front. Definitely recommend to sneak a peak if you are staying in close proximity.

This place sure is dandy and sweet like candy. As a donut-aphile I had to try some donuts while I was in Spain. I didn't know what to make of the donut display. Rods that came out from the wall which the donuts hung from. Maybe it's a gesture of supreme donut lightness? This place proudly proclaims it's vegan friendly foods. However I negated to ask if what I was buying was in fact vegan or not. Not that I am a vegan, more out of curiosity. Paying was interesting. A completely robotic system that removes the need for staff to handle any money. Which is great considering they are handling my soon to be eaten food. The donuts themselves are enjoyable. Sweet but not too sweet. If this WAS one of the vegan foods than I'm impressed. If not, than all I can say is I enjoyed it but it was only a donut. The place was clean, looked fun and inviting. Limited seating but as it's only small sweet snacks a table will become free sooner or later. Or be like us and join a couple at a larger table. United sweet tooths.

I did a lot of research on where I wanted to venture to when we were in Barcelona, so Chök was on my radar. After being on a long plane ride and then taking to the streets of Barcelona, this cute shop was a sight for sore eyes. I was tired, hungry, and in need of air conditioning, and Chök came to my rescue! Their pastry case is AMAZING, like total sensory overload. My husband and I opted for a sampling of their mini sized donuts and kronuts. The staff was really nice and helpful, and let us hang out in their shop to escape the heat until we were ready to move on. I definitely recommend stopping here, if nothing else but for the 'gram.

First day in barecelona came here with my bestfriend I'm already a fan of donuts & crossaints & these cronuts were so delish no complaints at all we end up enjoying them at the beach buy for the specialty donuts you don't want to wait keep them out too long or they'll start to melt. Also note that the specialty donuts runout fast

Good looking, but tastes normal. Nothing special about its flavor. Kind of disappointed because I thought it would be the best chocolate shop in Barcelona

After walking by the window several times, I had to go in. Everything looked amazing! I settled on a strawberry cream donut that was also vegan. It was delicious!!!

A sweet treat. The display is nice and clean. Treats including truffles, cronuts, cakes, cake pops and chocolate bars are made fresh next door and you can watch them through the window. There are only two stools at a small little bar with a chocolate dispensing machine (NOT Free btw) The gentlemen helping us was really nice and carefully packed our treats. So much to choose from!!

What can I say except, GO THERE! Hand made donuts with amazing toppings and flavours! But what I do totally recommend are the Kronuts, croissant base donut shaped and topped! Good coffee as well! The location is 10 meters far from La Rambla and the inside is amazing, new minimal style combined with some pieces of old architecture, and most importantly you have an open window on the bakery itself. Staff kind and helpful giving you all the informations about the products. Just one problem... when you step in you really don't know what to choose!!!

Kronut topped with chocolate glaze, nuts, chocolate cake, and kinder bar.

I went to both locations in the city, and, as a native Portlander, I approve of these donuts!! I got kronuts each time. The first time was covered in chocolate glaze with nuts, a piece of chocolate cake, and a Kinder bar. That was good. Not the best texture from the kronut, but I'd venture that it had been made a couple hours earlier. Still tasty - the toppings were all good. The second time I went with one filled with Nutella and topped with white & black chocolate glaze and an Oreo. This was terrific, good texture and lots of Nutella. My second visit (at Carrer de les Ramelleres), I chatted with the employee who was working there for quite some time (didn't ask his name, but night of Aug 23). He was very helpful and friendly, very nice to chat with. Couldn't win a customer over any easier than that. Overall terrific place, and I'd recommend making a trip for some really good donuts.

Cute shop. Friendly service. Unfortunately I don't recommend the food. The coffee was weak. The savory pastries were not seasoned.

The young ladies handing out the samples were friendly and so generous with the samples; they kept urging me to try different ones and, believe me, I didn't need much encouragement! I love nougat! I love the softer nougats with almonds best, but I also had some with pistachios and fruits. The best was the one with almonds and chocolate! The bars come in different sizes, so if you want quick and easy-to-handle souvenirs to take home, this might be it. I think the smaller bars were 3.95 Euros while the larger bars were 9.95 Euros. My friend purchased a large box of the round ones before she realized they had smaller boxes and they graciously allowed her to exchange her purchase. Service was very quick and friendly. Wish there was a shop like this near my home; I'd be there quite often!!

Originally founded in 1775 and still family owned, years of fame and intelligent investing allowing the company to expand into several International markets and styles of Nougat and Chocolate including a Sugar-Free line said to be indistinguishable from the real thing, it was just after 15h00 that the lengthy store on Carrer Provença was entered, a greeter at the door quickly leading patrons to a serving dish of four chopped treats, both the White Chocolate and Pistachio Block as well as Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut sort of like American Holiday "Bark" and pleasant enough while the hard and moist Torron were both very sweet, actually quite a bit moreso than Ramos or La Turronería Iváñez in Bilbao. Quite the operation, the company now with nearly three dozen stores including a Turron Museum outside of Lleida that many have said to be worth the drive, it was walking deeper into the space that guests found themselves tempted by Bars, Tablets and Chocolate Bon-Bons, a trio of samples from the ElBarri collection all delightful with the Gin & Tonic particularly well crafted and the Olive Oil filled version simple and clean while exaggerating the fruity flavors of the Cocoa. Picking up some gifts for others plus a few small bars for later it was finally en route to the register that eyes fell upon a package titled Gema Cremada, the Candy that is apparently quite popular around holidays without a doubt the most impressive thing tasted at Vicens with a creamy body made from Marzipan and Sugar beneath a brûléed exterior that helps to mellow the sweetness while also adding a remarkable texture that compelled the purchase of a weighty €7 package for the road.

There were a few loaves of bread but mostly there were those sweets and it seems they have those all the time. We got a regular cinnamon roll because the flavored ones didn't have as much of the frosting on it which is the best part, and a pistachio cream rookie... no im not sure what a rookie is but it looked like a Levain cookie (the famous one from NY) as it was a mountain of a dessert. We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey. Five stars because it wasn't bad but I can't say I'm super impressed. I will be going to other gf bakeries over this one

There are definitely plenty of places for churros with chocolate around the city, but stumbling upon this one totally changed my perspective on dark chocolate. I used to be a white chocolate gal, but now I've come to realize that dark chocolate can be so decadent -- slightly bitter with the perfect amount of sweetness. Honestly, it was rich, smooth, and totally drinkable. The churros were nicely fried -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside -- and paired perfectly with that delicious dark chocolate. So good that we came back two nights in a row, which rarely happens when we're traveling. Very nice service, cozy vibe, and definitely a must-stop sweet treat while in Barcelona. Happy eats!
