He changed every door in the house to solid six panel doors and assisted in the family room and office built in by installing them. He build the most incredible custom walk in closet converting a bedroom into a spectacular use of space. He has renovated 3 bathrooms and kept them updated as needed most recently replacing a honed marble threshold in the shower and reinstalling the custom glass doors. The most recent improvement was the replacement of our gas water heaters since the old ones were starting to leak. They politely pointed out that my paint job in the hall was not very good and asked if they could put another coat over it for no extra cost! They did and it looks so much better. Carlos and Miguel did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything. The cost of $900 was very fair. Even if you get a lower bid I would go with them for the proven quality of their work.

When we first moved in there were endless problems dues to shonky workmanship and corner cutting which seems to be the thing with NY developers in that area trying to make a fast buck at the cost of their customers. It was a very painful and arduous experience that would have been a complete nightmare had Andrés and Luis's team not partnered with us to set things right and help us achieve the quality of finish and safety that we expected from our initial purchas. Such things as rewiring sockets and fixtures that were tripping the breakers every day or so, correction of poor plumbing, insulating wall that were supposed to be insulated, refinishing the floors and hanging doors that were askew, draft proofing doors and windows, reaping ing the entire space (all 2600 square feet - walls and ceilings). They have also built and installed a beautiful barn door and 8 sliding closet doors. The barn door was a mixture of salvaged hardwood and the closet door were constructed from salvaged barn siding. I have saved thousands of dollars and have 100% confidence in these guys to be there when I need them as well as delivering the type of quality, service and craftsmanship that our vision for a home has set out to achieve. My wife and I are both artists and creative directors and I started my career trying to be an architect so it's fair to say that we have a trained eye for both form and functionality. We are very demanding in our expectations and at times have requested Studio Carle go above and beyond to carry out work customised to our requirements and design spec and sometimes out of scope yet this team has always delivered - even when things have been extra difficult we have always worked through any hiccups and arrived at a place of completion. I can't recommend their services enough - you'll have difficulty finding such reliability and support in this area. This reference is long over due as we have achieved so much together over the years and we believe every household should have a support system for getting jobs done in an emergency or otherwise to create peace of mind in your safe place we like to call home.
