My husband and I hadn't filed for a few years and we owed the IRS and state money. From the very beginning, he educated us on what we have to do to fix this. He filed our back taxes and this year's taxes for us and he showed us how to withhold the correct amounts. After that, it was fairly quick to get an installment agreement with both the franchise tax board and the IRS. We can breathe easier now and know we don't have to worry anymore.
