Anyway, we served ourselves on the shop floor, although nobody approached us, we didnt actually need any help so it wasnt a problem to me. When we got to the till, the lady was really really nice and helpful. She offered us the 3 year insurance, which we took but she took the time to explain to us exactly what to do if things went wrong, giving examples of her using the insurance scheme. All in all it was a very good trip. However I have been there before to get PC's or Laptops and almost walked out in disgust at how long they make you wait. I often know exactly what i want before hand, but the staff try to change your mind and offer you other products and can be pushy about it. Its an average sized PC world with a Tech guys area, I have used them before and although they havent been able to sort it in store, they got it taken away and returned to us in working order in a week which I was pleased with.

A problem I had with this branch of Curry's was the limited amount of stock (especially on the iPod…read morefront, the reason I went in in the first place) that they had in, although it looked like several displays were being changed, so perhaps this was temporary. The staff, while enthusiastic and quick to ask if they can help weren't able to tell me when they would be restocking the product I was searching for. All in all, a very middle of the road shopping experience, although perhaps if I visited now, the stock levels might be better.

They have a lovely children's section (which is where I spend most of my time these days). There are some fish on display and a little table where the kids can look at the books. Sometimes, they have little activities on Saturdays, such as storytelling, etc. Costa coffee is right next to the children's section which is perfect as we can then go and have a cup of tea. My whole family loves it!

He came back in less than 5 minutes with my phone working perfectly. I was expecting to pay for a replacement part and installation and only paid of a clean. I spoke to them on the phone and was confident they could repair it for me so I drove the hour journey and they quickly repaired it saving me a fortune over a replacement. As it is small the choice is very limited however they do have a lot of great stuff so you can usually find something just as good. The prices are slightly higher in comparison to other places, but the quality and service justifies this I think. I have only ever had a problem once with something I bought from there - it was my engagement ring, in which the stone fell out instantly, but they were quick to repair - free of charge and really apologetic.
