Will is fantastic! Prices are reasonable for the same quality as the high end salons in town. I get regular cuts and highlights twice a year. It's an old building, so not the fluff of a high end place, but who cares if the cuts and service are great. Be generous in tipping because you could be paying a lot more. read more

What a great hair cut! I have been going to the same person (love her) for many years. After relocating to Destin I was worried (even though I don't have that much hair left) about switching to someone else. It's very easy to get comfortable and be nervous about a change. From the moment I stepped in I felt that this was my new place. Heather did a great job, and the VERY BEST scalp massage that is worth the price of the hair cut. Came in with pictures hoping for a dramatic ombre. Ended up with heavy highlights. At least they looked good, though not what I asked for at all. So I called the manager hoping to give them a second chance to get it right. Went to a different stylist with the same set of pictures. When he started blow drying my hair I was in disbelief. The top of my head was black and the rest was blonde. I was visibly in shock. He put another layer to make it more of a transition, or so he said. It looked exactly the same. I haven't left my house without a hat since. It's embarrassing, and obviously I will be getting it fixed by a different salon since this one is so incompetent. read more

I was recommended to come by a friend. William was my stylist and we really had a great understanding on what I wanted. Of course with the lighting I couldn't tell how the turn out was. I originally wanted my whole head to be a dark red but it's now orange only on the top of my head and not the whole. I didn't want to go back because my hair would of been more damaged , as it is right now and I'm so upset. It's fried and ruined . I totally cheated on the hairdresser I've been with forever and came here to see Heather. She was highly recommended to me by someone I have always thought had great style and great hair. Turns out Heather has been doing her hair for years, why didn't I ask her sooner? Needless to say I'm very happy with my cut and color. I only gave her a vague idea of what I wanted and let her work her magic. Absolutely NOT recommending them!!! I made an appointment in the morning and I was told they had a 1pm, 1:45pm and a 2pm open. I chose the 1:45pm. I got there 5 minutes early and was seated in a waiting area. The place was dirty and a very unfriendly atmosphere... but I was desperate so I waited. Male grooming. It can be as baffling a subject to us men as female erogenous zones. And while I may have become (at least somewhat) adept at more than a few of these (the grooming, not the zones...Yelp doesn't do those kind of reviews), I realized a few days ago that my magnificent beard had become unruly in its six month span of sprinting towards the goal of Ultimate Manliness. Yet I was hesitant to attack with either scissors or clippers, as the enormity of the task at hand was too much for me to attempt while standing in front of my bathroom mirror. And so I called C'est la Vie. Why, you ask? Yelp. I gave Gary carte blanche in the spirit of the business's motif and he attacked my beard without fear. In the end, it was transformed into a beautifully shaped and squared swath of virile real estate that I now jut out to the world with the utmost confidence. Gary also gave me a great hair cut, since the weather is cooling and I no longer need to wear it so short. Although I was secretly hoping to look like George Clooney a la Ocean's 13, I came out like George Clooney circa Ocean's 11. Close, so close. I had a corrective color here about two weeks ago by Allen. WORST decision ever! After spending almost $200, I left the salon with gray hair. Allen told me that after I washed it, it would be the bright pretty blonde I wanted. He told me that the gray was due to the purple toner he had put in my hair. After I washed it, it turned ORANGE and brassy. My hair was brassy to begin with and is the reason I needed the corrective coloring. I showed Allen a picture of what I wanted, which was dark blonde hair with light blonde highlights. I might as well not have shown him a picture at all because it looked NOTHING like that. I left with a gray tint to my hair and am too young to have a gray tint. Once I washed my hair, it was ORANGE. I didn't spend $200 to be left with an even WORSE outcome. I called Heather to tell her what happened. Heather told me that I could come in and she would wash my hair for me and show me how it turns blonde after (which was ridiculous to me seeing as how I had just washed it and it was now orange). She said that she wouldn't be able to fix what Allen had done until a week later. I told her that I didn't pay $200 to walk around with ORANGE hair for a WEEK. She rushed me off the phone and said she would call me back. It's been two weeks and she NEVER called me back. She won't return any of my voicemails and no one will answer my calls there. She hasn't refunded my $200. NOTHING. WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT GO HERE! Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

He not only fixed it and made the color gorgeous, but he moisturized and repaired the dryness. And now I can't keep my hands out it! Down in Destin on vacation and decided to treat myself. So so happy with the finished product! Upon arrival I was checked in quickly and offered a drink. I didn't have to wait very long until Allen came in and we chatted about what I was thinking. This was my first time coloring my hair so I was a little nervous.
