Despite needing her services within an hour's time, she made it happen! And her fee was very reasonable. In fact, I honestly feel like I got a bargain from her, seeing how I needed a notary 1) on a Saturday, 2) in the evening, 3) within an hour, and 4) to come to my home to sign things. She checked every box and didn't try to up charge me like most larger mobile notaries would in those circumstances. You're just not going to find this level of service (and certainly not for Guevara's very affordable prices) going to a typical brick and mortar store offering notary services like UPS or the like. My concerns are not with her personally, but with the overall communication and follow-through I experienced. I initially reached out because I was seeking assistance with serving a defendant and was willing to pay for professional help to ensure everything was handled correctly. Unfortunately, I repeatedly found myself having to follow up for information and status updates that I had been told would be provided. On multiple occasions, I was given verbal assurances that information would be sent, but I never received it and had to continue chasing answers. One example was an e-filing matter. After waiting for follow-up that never came, I ultimately handled it myself and discovered that confirmation information had been sent to the company's email address rather than mine. I then had to call for assistance to resolve the issue. The filing itself only cost $3.50, which was significantly less than the service fee I was prepared to pay. Cost was never my concern--I was willing to pay whatever was necessary for reliable assistance. What I needed was communication and follow-through. What made the experience especially frustrating was that I am already dealing with the stress of pursuing money lost in a scam. When promised updates never arrive, it naturally creates concern and uncertainty. From a customer's perspective, if I have to repeatedly follow up on the same issue after being told it will be handled, confidence in the service begins to erode. While the pricing may be economical, I would not use the service again due to the communication issues and the amount of effort required on my part to obtain answers and updates. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as improved communication and follow-through would have completely changed my experience.
