We thought "same day" wow... that doesn't happen often. He did in fact come out, and while repairing a sprinkler head, explained everything he was doing, and the way it all works. This was at our mother's home. We asked to have her added to his list for blowing out the system for the winter and he did it right then. We were so happy, then asked if he could add us to his list to blow out our system at our house and he will be there this coming Sunday afternoon. Talk about service! Making an appointment was very easy as well and Joe was on time. He even came out on the weekend to finish after being interrupted by an enormous thunderstorm. We needed our sprinkler system revamped after a few other companies had given us lackluster service. Joe came out and in a few hours had 8 of the heads refurbished, all of the heads aimed correctly, added a new head, and made several suggestions for fixing the current system such as changing out a head for a more appropriate type and rerouting other sprinklers to avoid damaging the front porch. He even diagnosed a subsidence issue we had in the backyard that was caused by a drain, and gave us some advice about tree planting. One small but important point: Joe was considerate enough to come with a mask on during the pandemic. Highly recommended, and we'll be having him out to do all of our sprinkler maintenance in the future, as well as any changes we need for our new planting beds. Thanks Joe!

1 star. I would not recommend this company…read more 1. I paid them to reroute and repair an 8-zone sprinkler system around a new egress window. 2. Some time after the work was completed, I discovered two zones were not working and called them back to investigate. 3. Their own technician found the controller wires for those exact two zones disconnected. Those were also the exact two zones where their work had major leaks. 4. When one wire was reconnected, a pipe they had marked "no longer active" immediately shot water into the air beside the egress window, the exact area they were hired to address. 5. Rather than address these problems, they said too much time had passed to know who disconnected the wires and suggested the egress contractor may have cut the line. But their sprinkler work was performed specifically to reroute the system around the egress, and the line was left directly beside the window pointing straight upward. That was the condition their completed work was supposed to eliminate. Regardless of who they now suggest disconnected the wires, I don't see how an 8-zone job could have been properly completed and tested with the exact two defective zones disconnected. I would not trust this company's work or how they handle problems afterward.

Edmunds Lawn Irrigation is a top notch company, hands down. If you are considering installing a…read moresprinkler system and don't want to do it yourself, these are your guys. They have been with me lock step through the process of installation, educating me, maintenance, and most recently fixing Consumers Energy Gas Line Replacement woes. Extremely professional. They do what they say and they are there for their clients for a lifetime, not just installation. I knew that Consumers was going to be installing the sidewalk ("at some point") they removed last December (installed a hot patch) after they replaced the meter. Not because Consumers NOTIFIED ME (they didn't) as they clearly believe that Customer Service, Project Management and communication are just wasted man-hours. I knew because they started a few streets down and I knew it was coming, so I paid attention. I called Edmunds to let them know I would need them to come out at a moments notice to check the system they installed after the hot patches were pulled up. I knew it would be within a day or two from removal of the temp patch to the installation of the cement. They could not promise anything but committed to doing their best. This morning I heard the Tonka Trucks on my street so I called to say, "today is the day". Edmunds scheduled my guy to come to me at the end of his planned service to check my system. On the fly. Thank God they were able to make that work. Greg, my technician, showed up at 5:30 and communicated with me during the day, a ticket on the playbook that Consumers should try. We got the system up and running JUST as the Consumers contractors were filling cement at my neighbors. Greg noted in one of the sidewalk patches some bubbling and wanted to give it further evaluation. Upon digging a foot down he found my hosing had been crushed, twisted and had popped to spring a leak. Had Edmunds not come to check the system as urgently as I needed, the contractors would have replaced the concrete and this would have turned into a much more significant problem. By their fast work, Gregs experienced Keen Eye and his knowledge of my system, they saved me likely months of additional frustration and expense from a leaking pipe under a cured sidewalk. I could not recommend Edmunds any higher than I can today, but my previous experience has been equally incredible. I am not recommending Greg because I am selfish. He's mine people. You can't have him.

I called for a turn on and the earliest time they had was one month later, in mid June. not good!! in general, fees are really high and they will not negotiate prices. stick to smaller , family run businesses .
