Best francesinhas in Aveiro. 'Nough said. But I'll go on to explain that the sauce is really great and beats most francesinhas in Porto. Meat is tender and everything tastes fresh. The fries are amazing, house cut, thin and crispy, simply delicious. Portions are nice and big so it's a good value. Staff is always friendly, service is fast, the place is clean. They have burgers and hot dogs as well but seriously you're doing yourself and your taste buds a disservice if you don't get the francesinhas. You have the option of more meat or less meat, egg or no egg, but the size is the same it's a matter of how tall it will be. Now parking may be a problem and the place may be a little hard to find but you're a few meters from Praça do peixe, by the ria so it's a wonderful part of town. read more

3.5 stars. A good place for lunch if you want to eat a Francesinha. We split "An Original" which was loaded with all the usual ingredients and tasty. It came with crispy fries. Plenty of food for 2 people. Especially when we had some local craft beers from Coimbra and Aveiro.
