If you go up and order because you want to sit out in the sand on their benches, they give you plastic wine glasses, and you can sit there as long as you want to listen to the waves and enjoy the ocean breeze. We stopped by for just a cup of coffee and some wine, and end up staying over two hours. The fries are amazing, house cut, thin and crispy, simply delicious. Portions are nice and big so it's a good value. Staff is always friendly, service is fast, the place is clean. They have burgers and hot dogs as well but seriously you're doing yourself and your taste buds a disservice if you don't get the francesinhas. You have the option of more meat or less meat, egg or no egg, but the size is the same it's a matter of how tall it will be. Now parking may be a problem and the place may be a little hard to find but you're a few meters from Praça do peixe, by the ria so it's a wonderful part of town.

The best garlic shrimp I have ever eaten in a restaurant! Tender and so flavorful. We asked for a second basket of bread so we can dip the bread in the delicious sauces of the shrimp and clams. Entrees were well executed! My bacalhao con natas was so delicious! Steak and calamari entrees were great too! Enjoyed the chocolate mousse! Servers team of three were Awesome! Attentive, knew menu well, answered questions and made recommendations. Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Highly recommend! See you next time we are in Aveiro!!
