As in many restaurants in Spain Fogon del Salvador has restricted working hours. 1 to 4 pm and 8 to 11 pm. Just that. Great selection of wines and good Castillian food. Service was attentive and profesional. Pricey but good.

Without…read morea doubt El Rincon de Medinaceli was the highlight of our Basque restaurant experiences and that included top rated restaurants in San Sebastián. The service was exemplary and the chef (trained in San Sebastián) came over to check on our meal. The tomato salad (homegrown) were amazing. We shared the cod dish and steak with peppers and fries. Both were perfect for 4 people to share over lunch. We ended with the recommended desserts. Amazing. I highly recommend making the detour if you find yourself close to Medinaceli!!!!
