It has been trial and error, which is how this can go. But Janet has patiently found a way to get me relief and remission (hopefully permanent). Janet also coordinating with another dr (sadly it's a rarity nowadays to get that coordination). I also find the front desk to be truly amazing- some of the scripts are very expensive. They hunted down a pharmacy for me, (Stines) which saved me $370 on a script. That is so beyond any service I've had at a prior doctors office. Such an efficient and caring practice. When I called Moorestown Derm to also let them know that the pharmacy was waiting for a callback, they said they wouldn't be able to take care of it until the end of the day, which means I won't be able to get my medication (likely) until tomorrow... four days after my appointment. The staff person I spoke to didn't seem to care that I've been waiting for them to sent the correct prescription. If I thought it would make a difference, I'd call back to ask for the office manager or practice owner but I doubt it would do any good. Very disappointed.

The receptionist is nice enough but when you have a line of patients who are trying to check out , check in and you're having a problem with a patient's insurance and you need to call for help ( after ten minutes) you don't have your patients wait while they both try to figure it out . Both girls are now trying to figure out the problem instead of one getting on the computer right there and get the waiting patients taken care of. Which is what they eventually did after making patients wait. Asking me if I had a problem was very unprofessional and telling me you're doing the best you can . NO you did not ... A little common sense goes a long way. This was not the first time with this receptionist she is to quick to snipe. The office was easy to spot, well lit with lots of signage and ample parking. Upon entering the office I was welcomed by the front desk person, Gary. Gary was very friendly and quickly went through all my paperwork, provided me with a black folder and told me to take a seat. The waiting room/ lobby was huge and had plenty of seating. I only had to spend a short time here, as I was taken back within 10 minutes of my arrival. I was brought to a small room and given a paper gown. The X-Ray technician, Brain, then came and walked me back to the X-Ray room. Brain was beyond friendly and made it feel like I was catching up with a friend rather than getting an x-ray. Whenever I need radiology work- I will be coming here. Great staff, clean office, and quick service- what more could anyone want from a Radiology office? TIP: Your results will be sent to your doctor, but you can ask for a copy of your x-ray. The copy will be provided on a disk which you can view on your computer.

I then checked on their website and found an appointment available on the night I wanted in another location. Unfortunately, their website booking wouldn't work after several attempts so I ended up leaving a voicemail requesting that time. Eventually, I spoke to a lady who refused to give me that time and said someone else took it. Therefore, I was forced to drive out to Voorhees while feeling the effects of painkillers. Super awesome and safe. I felt pretty awful and annoyed upon arrival. The lady at the front desk was nice enough and didn't take too long to check me in. Eventually I was brought back and told to change. They then stuck me in a chair for at least 15 minutes while someone else finished their test. I find that practice SO annoying. Maybe it makes the process more convenient for them, but it's so uncomfortable for the patient. The test itself was fine, though the tech didn't offer to help me sit up when I struggled. I guess that's not part of their job. This location is clean and new, and it's good if you live near Voorhees. I just found the whole trip to be a hassle.

Wait times are minimal and if your doctor forgets to send your referral on time, they'll still let you be seen by a doc. You will need to put a large hold on your credit card though. The office is conveniently located in Washington Township (I guess that explains their name). They're right near the merge of Hurffville-Crosskeys and Egg Harbor. Now, I don't get a call until after I call asking what happened to my results. During my last whole-body check-up, I needed 3 byopsies. One came back positive and so we scheduled the surgery. I week later one of my other Dr.s noticed a spot on my neck, behind my ear, that didn't look good. Another Byop. at the Derm Center confirmed it was cancer, ooops, it got missed somehow. Now they won't schedule the second one with the first.....said Insurance won't cover it that way. I called my insurance and they said they would want it done as efficiently as possible, as long as both are medically necessary. I don't appreciate being lied to. Called back the Derm CTR. and spoke with a manager. She first tried to say they couldn't schedule them together because of the insurance. I explained what I had learned and asked her not to lie to me again. Then she tried to say they couldn't do both on the same day due to risk of infection. I explained to her that I have had multiple surgeries in one day before. She said that's not possible... calling me a liar again! Then she said If I wanted to get both done in one day, I would have to have the procedure done at a hospital. Why, are your facilities less sanitary than the hospital?.... if that's the case, I should not have had ANY of my surgeries done at their office. Won't be back there again.
