I had this company come do my 2024 Kia EV6; a full ceramic coating on the body, windows, and rims/tires back in March of 2024. I only had the car for less than 1 full month new from the dealership! I was told it has a 9yr coverage warranty but might need yearly maintenance. First off, I will say that the job the technician did was very professional and detail oriented ( ). He showed up in an official company vehicle and spent almost 4 hours at the house; answering every question I had so I could understand the process and coating coverage. Coverage included the physical body, the trim including my installed window in-channel vent guards, all the windows themselves, and the rims/tires! The total job was less than $700 including tip and the coating itself lasted almost an entire year; they used System X Max G+ and you could physically read the product on the bottles being used. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the outcome!!! Forward about ten months later, and that is where I started to see a less than smooth or glossy active coating when washing the car. I run it through a touchless carwash at least 2x a week and hand pressure washed myself every other Sunday using Chemical Guys Si02 car wash. That said, I reached out to them, and they recommended a yearly maintenance refresh might be needed. THIS technician, however, was not so "detail oriented" and did NOT even show up in a Certified Ceramics vehicle. He was supposed to use System X Renew ( ℎ ) but none of the bottles he had on hand were labelled as such; rather basic spray bottles found at Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart with a milky white substance looking fluid inside them. His towels on hand weren't even as clean as my own microfiber towels; thus, why I do think he asked me if he could use them instead. I obliged so I knew he couldn't scratch the paint/surface. He also asked to use my handheld Turbo Blower as it was "too hot and would make quicker work" of the job. Nonetheless, he only treated and buffed the physical body of the car; DID NOT treat the windows, trim, or rims/tires, as that is what I was expecting. I asked him and he said it just doesn't cover those surfaces. He was at the house for about an hour/hour + 30 mins and it cost me $225 which included the tip. Yes, I tip regardless, sometimes it isn't the employee, rather the company itself so they shouldn't be held accountable. I can honestly say, the yearly maintenance was a complete waste of money. It did NOT "refresh" as stated, the car now doesn't bead like it used to, and is NO WHEREAS slick or shiny as the original job came out! I am still washing at touchless car wash 2x a week BUT now have had to hand-pressure wash weekly in every attempt to keep it looking good. Buyer beware; the yearly maintenance package is a joke!!! Do Not Buy One!!! I have since found their products online myself at https://www.systemx.com/products/ and will attempt to purchase directly from the company to use the actual product intended for the job. My husband happened to see an ad for Certified Ceramics on Facebook and decided to check them out. He was very interested in the ceramic coating for our Motorhome. We were quoted a price and were pleased with the military discount. Certified ceramics arrived with 5 men at the agreed upon time, 8 AM sharp. They assessed the job then went to work right away. First they pressure washed the entire Motorhome. Next they used brushes and soap to clean every inch. After that, they used a type of clay sanding substance to prep the surface for the ceramic. The 5 men worked all through the day, in the hot sun and completed the job before the rain came. After they left, I walked the Motorhome and found some spots I wasn't happy with. I sent an email with my concerns. Within minutes I received notice Certified Ceramics was on their way back. They apologized profusely. They went back then immediately addressed my concerns. Once done, I walked around the Motorhome with the boss and was very satisfied with the superior quality job. We walked when there were dark rain clouds so I couldn't see any missed areas. The next day, during the bright sunlight, we found a few other missed spots. We called Certified Ceramics and explained what we saw. They are coming back out today to fix the missed spots. The ceramic surface has a 9 year warranty/guaranty! Who does that? Needless to say, our Motorhome looks brand new, shiny. I highly recommend Certified Ceramics for your car, Motorhome or anything with paint on it. The crew were easy to work with, very polite and respectful. A very well run business that aims to please. there were three technicians sent out over a period of three weeks to finish a job that should have been done on the first visit. It is my honest opinion had I not given negative reports I would've never got the job done. However, they did in fact get the job done where it was acceptable. I contacted CC for a treatment on a 26' travel trailer. I expressed to them the main reason I'm doing it is because the unit sits outside uncovered by the SRQ airport and I wanted an extra layer of protection until I get a shade cover. They came on the day scheduled with 3-4 technicians. I asked Z the lead tech to make sure the roof gets treated. The next day I was able to access the roof with a ladder and noticed nothing was done to the roof. We have an Intech Terra Oasis with the same fiberglass panels on the roof as the walls. They stated that they don't do the membrane roofs so I explained that the roof is the same as the walls so it should be treated. I reached out to Mataes who had some techs come by while I was away from the shop. When I got there the next day to inspect it looked as if nothing was done, literally! Contacted Mataes and he said since it is not a walkable roof they couldn't do the full treatment........ Please verify with them beforehand so you don't end up in my situation! It looks like I will be buying a polisher, compound, and a ceramic treatment to do the roof myself, greatly disappointed, because the price I paid was $2300 for the TT and my daughters Trailblazer. read more
