The building looks relatively new, its clean, comfortable seating. Maybe I'll get an opportunity to watch an OHL game here someday! Let's not forget, this is the home of the Tragically Hip!

No issues with sounds or lighting, and comfy seats that aren't bolted to the floor so you can spread out a little. Clayton Opera House offers a variety of performances at reasonable prices, and online tickets can be printed at home or picked up at will call. Parking is not bad if you get there early enough to park in the O'Brien's lot, otherwise you may get stuck with street parking. One thing I wasn't excited about: there is no obvious mask policy, no signs, no hand sanitizer, no spacing of seats, and no mention of vax status, either in the building or on the tickets/email. They probably don't need all of these things, but maybe one or two. My husband and I wore masks the whole time we were there, and we were in the minority. Other than that, we enjoyed the concert immensely.

I get it, the prices need to be on the higher side so they can make sure the animals are being well taken care of. We went on a very quiet Saturday, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Staff were so friendly. This place would be great for a rainy day, but it was hard to stay couped up indoors when it was such a nice day outside. We were able to leave and have lunch else where (there was no cafeteria that I noticed on site), and we were able to come back after and hang out a bit more. The kids were not too impressed with the fish, but they LOVED the water table activity center. I'd recommend a visit at least once.
