I truly appreciate the time they took with my boys. Doctor Sofia and her staff were amazing! She explained the very well detail the procedure that my son needed and gave me different options. They took care of us like no other. Highly recommend! They are also very welcoming!

I have been taking my son to see Dr Sofia with since he was about a year old. Since he started going he has slowly started warming up more and more at each visit to having his teeth examined. She is so good at trying to get him to do a little more at every visit! A couple years ago he was so scared to let her even see his teeth so she asked him to show her how he brushes his teeth and at that time she examined his teeth in such a way that he didn't really notice or be bothered by it. This last visit was such a huge success that he even allowed us to do x-rays on his teeth!! Progress! Dr Sofia has always been so kind to him, and always gives him a balloon, toys, and stickers. He obviously loves it. She also pointed out to us that my son's teeth were extra grooved which makes them harder to clean and gave us a treatment plan for that - I really appreciate the proactive nature she took with this rather than waiting for cavities to show up (since grooved teeth are apparently extra hard to clean) Highly recommend her for your little one. Their teeth will be in good hands. My most recent visit (which I have attached pics of) are of the main office, they will be opening the pediatric side soon and I will update with pics of that after my next visit.

This is an amazing office. We ended up here as a second opinion. Our son avoided being put under for dental work. Staff is amazing.

I thought this was so cute! My sons first visit at this dentist office and seeing his name, he thought was pretty cool

I switch both of my kids from a general dentistry to ceres pediatric dentistry and I'm so glad we did! The environment is completely different. You can see they care for the child's well being. The office look is so cute and welcoming! I'm so glad we have chosen Ceres Pediatric Dentistry!!

She was obviously very nervous coming in as she was afraid of "the drill"! The entire process went smoothly. Dr. Sheikh was skilled and very gentle. He explained everything to me fully before he got started so there were no surprises. The assistants Pritika and Breana were also sweet, patient, and very reassuring through the process. I was able to sit by and keep my hand and eyes on my daughter the whole time. She handled it like a champ and hardly flinched! Everything about this office is great for kids. The coin machines at the end are great. Thank you for making a scary day much easier for our girl! Today was our first visit and consult for our 2 little ones, ages 5 and 2. I was very impressed by how calm the kids were through the process thanks to very sweet, patient staff and dentists. It was scary for the 5 year old to learn that she would need a treatment, but overall, it was a very positive experience for both of them. The fun, kid friendly atmosphere was great and I wish I had this kind of dentist as a kid!

Got a second opinion at another dentist and told me she had nothing wrong with her. They either gave me the wrong x rays or tampered with it. All they want is a cash grab and want you out of there quick. I don't know how this place is open. Staff were somewhat nice at least.

The letter stated due to "clinical circumstance" they think we would be best served somewhere else. Clinical=treatment so I called to ask what treatment they were incapable of doing so I could let the future dentist know. Of course, the reply was "there isn't anything we are unable to do". So ...do I have any no call-no shows on appointments or have an outstanding bill? (because that's understandable). Nope I had two appointments that I showed up to on time and I had no money owed. This was all over me not communicating with them over a service they were going to do in the future. My autistic son needs anesthesia for treatment which hundreds of dollars that is due up front. The treatment he needed was not urgent or hurting him, so I told the dentist and hygienist this was unfortunately not something I could do immediately. So the dismissal reason was not updating them about a procedure that I told them I would have to contact them about it at a later date. Do they have a right to be frustrated/annoyed? Sure. But no one is required to keep you updated on their life circumstances in relation to a dental procedure. The amount of entitlement and self-importance it takes to create a policy around it is astounding. SUGGESTION. If they had said since its been 90days, we have to schedule another checkup because we don't want to do a treatment unless we are fully knowledgeable of the current condition, I could totally understand that, and that would sound like caring service. I have never had a medical/dental professional throw a fit over me not following up. I have, however, had them explain additional services were required because the information isn't as current as they would like, but never straight refusal of service. The tactic on the letter, pretending that this is in the patient's best interest, is supposed to be a tactic used after the consumer has proven they will waste time or fight about the worth of business and its services. Ie. a couple of no-call no shows, or outstanding bill. In this case I fail to see where their damages are over three phone calls in November and one letter in January. All of these were technically not required and are usually a courtesy. I can't imagine how your business has made people feel and the guilt or shame they must feel after being dismissed. If they don't contact you, maybe it's because they are STRUGGLING. Maybe it's because they are carrying such a huge load, that many things are falling through the cracks. It's lacks so much care and empathy on your part, and you would add to that burden because they didn't get in touch with you and explain what was going on in their lives? Or have to explain to you when they could afford the service or when they could actually schedule it? Both bold and wrong of you. My son was sent to you SPECIFICALLY because of his special needs. It hurts me for him that you would make a choice like this, because I didn't respond in your timeframe. You might be inconveniencing me, but really you punished him. You didn't do this to me, you did this to my 5 year old son. Obviously we will find another provider, and I'm glad I got this early on so I didn't invest time and money in your business. I am not angry and I respect that your business has the right to run things your way. What I don't like that you present your business as kind and caring when there is no way a business who was those things would make this a policy. Three months is a flash in a parent's busy life, and people get sent to you for specialized care. Non-communication is not about you. Decentralize your business in people's life.

Right away, I was greeted with a great smile. The lady at the front desk was clearly busy, but that didn't stop her from being attentive and friendly. Lovely welcome desk. As soon as I'm called back, I'm greeted by another friendly smile ( I believe "Maria"), and she tells me that she will be the one taking care of my X-Rays and photos. She was eager to chat, and even gave me some really interesting insight into their new camera system. Another lovely person. I'm then greeted by the lady who will be doing my cleaning, as well as Dr. Amethyst Schlecht. Dr. Amethyst Schlecht is very well spoken and engaging. She had a knowledgeable answer for every question, and never made me feel uncomfortable. Her inspection was quick but thorough, and I walked away feeling like the visit was comprehensive. The female dentist who did my cleaning (I'm bad with names, sorry!) was extremely friendly and equally as knowledgeable. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, so she really needed to put some work into the cleaning. However, she managed to keep it comfortable and basically pain free--other than the usual tugging and poking that is necessary. I think my favorite part was how everyone seemed super happy and eager to share knowledge with me. Every question was met with an answer. I felt like I was talking to enthusiasts, not just bored people at a job they never wanted. Perfect first time experience. Looking forward to coming back in 6 months! Cheers

Which they excel in that. As far as the front staff that schedules appointments absolutely terrible and inconsiderate. During our first visit, they "scheduled" our next two appointments one for March and one for June. They even gave us a handwritten reminder on a card from their office. When approaching the appointment in March, I realized that they never called to confirm his appointment. I went ahead and called and they said it wasn't in the system. They assured me that his appointment was there and to still go in. When I arrived, his appointment was not there in the system, but thankfully, they were able to squeeze them in that same day. Before leaving, I confirmed his appointment for June. I showed them the reminder card that they had given us and they said yes it's in our system. We arrive today and there is a flyer on the door that says our office is closed two Saturdays out of the month. It just baffles me that they scheduled us an appointment on a day that they are closed and if this is something that is new, why did they not call/email us to let us know new office hours or that they were rescheduling our appointment. We will not be returning here.
