***** WARNING *****…read more NEGATIVE 5 STARS To those of you reading this, this company routinely threatens people who write bad/honest reviews - they do the same for all of the career sites (Glass door, Career Builder etc). They try to force people to either edit their reviews or take them down entirely Terrible place to work. The owners have been at each others throats and suing each other for years. One owner hides $$$ and a couple other sub-businesses/side hustles form the other and uses LS company resources to do so. The company offers 4th rate simulation products with poorly implemented engineering and development. Even worse customer support and delivery. They promise the moon, and underdeliver in every conceivable way imaginable. To boot if you are hired and work like the devil to do your best and make things better - once somebody there either decides you are a "Threat" (For actually doing YOUR JOB / Professionally speaking) they work hard to undermine you and get you terminated. The cherry on top is the fact once you are terminated/let go/whatever they go out of their way to L I E to unemployment and make out of whole cloth a story to sway the unemployment office to deny your benefits. EVEN if you are trying to leave voluntarily ON GOOD TERMS - If you mention leaving or try to put in notice to do so; (Even volunteering to train a/your replacement) they march you straight out of the building. He is very good at developing confidence with people who are afraid of guns as well and those who aren't. The purpose of the course is to practice being in a situation where you might (or not) have to legally shoot someone, so you can develop familiarity with your fight/flight response, tactical positioning, how to talk with 911 and not get shot when the police arrive. He uses a computer and projector to create interactive scenarios to mimic plausible real world situations. We had three people in our course, and we were able to run five scenarios. Maximum was six people, but I think three was about right. He also gave recommendations on flashlight and pepper spray use. Attended this course after a $5 preview course sponsored by US Law Shield.

I'll lay it out like this, I've had good experiences the past 6 times I've been in there. But this…read morepast one really blew my mind... I have a suppressor in NFA jail and they use silencer shop which is horrible. For context if you've never bought NFA items in the past and your only experience is Silencer shop, then you just don't know how horrible they are compared to shops who do everything on their own. Anyways it had been about a month and a half since my suppressor had arrived there and I logged onto my S Shop acct to see the status and Alpha Defense had had the process for over 2 weeks in their pending status. So I called to verify and they were like oh yeah! So I e-signed my docs and process now back to S Shop... fast forward a few weeks I went into the physical shop to find out what the deal was and why i wasn't notified and the best answer I got was it slipped through the cracks and oops. I was having a normal conversation asking why they use S Shop and if they thought about doing everything in house like most other shops who care about their name/brand/customers and the kid behind the counter who I dunno if he is a manager, owners son, or just a shop minion became visibly agitated and made several comments to me not knowing anything about me, which isn't remotely ok on any level. I get you love what you do and that you think being behind the counter makes you omniscient, but it doesn't. Sad to say because of this encounter after my last 2 suppressors are transferred I won't be returning and I recommend no one else does either. Judging from the conversation I was trying to have with the NFA kid, he doesn't care if S Shop ruins their NFA business or not. My advice is find a shop that does the NFA process in house aka not using Silencer Shop and since the NFA kid at alpha defense clearly doesn't care how Silencer Shop treats its mutual customers find another gun shop altogether.
