Centurylink is the worst! If I had another choice I would switch in a heartbeat. Can't talk to anyone local as they are closing all the customer service outlets and want you to talk to someone that doesn't speak English as a first language. When I had an outage, same problem as last time, they couldn't provide a repairman for seven days. Centurylink, get your customer service up to date and help your long time customers. read more

Century link is THE WOST!!!!! Every time I have an issue (OVER BILLING 4 TIMES) it takes at LEAST 3 phone calls and 7 people, then the problem still exists and happens again the next billing cycle. SO, here I go again with the phone calls and worthless representatives. Each one states that they can see that I spoke with a representative the past month and the THEY failed to do something correctly, when I ask to speak wit a supervisor they state "our supervisors do speak on the phone" and refer me to a RUDE escalations rep.(JAMES) If you have the option STAY CLEAR OF CENTURY LINK you will be better off! read more

Ordered Centurylink for my residence in Fremont, WI. After numerous calls each over an hour, I finally got a representative that would offer the same price as I could get thru DirecTV. After a 78 minute phone call on 6-17-16, the order was placed and installation was scheduled between 8am-5pm on 6-23. On 6-21 I received a phone call confirming the install date. At that time I asked if the time could be narrowed down. I was told 8am-noon and technician would call 30-60 minutes before arriving. On 6-23 (the day of install) I called Centurylink at 1pm because I had not heard from the technician. I was told there was nothing in their notes about AM but the technician would be coming and would call in advance. I asked if the technician could be contacted to give me a time and they said they did not know what technician was coming. At 4:45 I again called Centurylink as I had not heard from them. At this time, I was told "The device for your area is on permanent exhaust". When I asked what that meant I was told they had no open ports to connect me to! This means I will never get internet. So even if you can get a decent price, you may not get service. read more
