Cape May has parking restrictions everywhere, which is completely understandable. I parked in the…read moreHomestead Real Estate lot, where ParkMobile clearly allows you to pay to park after 3:00 PM. I arrived just before 3:00, walked away from my car, and paid through the ParkMobile app which, of course, does not require you to physically stand next to your vehicle to pay. The only option was to pay in an 8-hour increment, so I paid for the full 8 hours even though I only needed to park for about 10 minutes. When I returned to my car at approximately 3:10, three people from the business were staring at me and there was a note left on my car. They told me I needed to pay for parking. I politely said, "Okay, thanks," and went to get into my car. One of them then felt the need to comment that they had my license plate number. I explained that I had already paid, but instead of simply accepting that, they were rude, dismissive, and acted as though they didn't believe me before storming back inside. I actually pulled up my ParkMobile app and showed them proof that I had paid. I paid for 8 hours of parking to be there for 10 minutes. There was absolutely no reason for the hostility or attitude. People are visiting Cape May to enjoy themselves and are perfectly willing to follow the parking rules. If you don't want the public parking in your lot, then perhaps you shouldn't partner with ParkMobile and offer paid public parking there. A little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way. The entire interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant. 10/10 wouldn't recommend it there.

We rented a unit the week of 8/12. When we got to the house the AC on the third floor, where all of…read morethe bedrooms were located, was not working. We immediately contacted the real estate. Justin came by and told us to wait, the AC worked perfectly fine and needed time to cool. The other floors were cooled down pretty quickly, but the third floor had no indication of cooling or any air ventilation. Despite, we remained patient and waited. We ended up not having any AC on the third floor that night and then again the next day. The following day was Sunday and the real estate was closed but thank goodness for RJ, the realtor I worked with who managed to get an hvac guy out to us. RJ is the only reason I am even giving one star. Then we wanted to use the pool and needed a key. Pool is part of the complex and is included in rental fee as per the website. All other renters had a key except us. When I called the real estate they told me they don't have a key and to ask our neighbors and go to hardware store to duplicate!!!! Imagine that!! Also when we came to the property there were layers of dust and trash under the beds. At check-out, when I gave the key back and told Justin all our concerns, instead of apologizing, he was arguing with me in a rude and unprofessional manner. Justin doesn't know what customer service is. If he is not the owner of this real estate then I would hope the owner rethinks having him there as the face of the real estate. Overall, terrible person to deal with.

This is a mixed review, because most of our experience was very positive with only one big…read morenegative. We rented a condo unit in Cape Roc complex in Cape May the last week of August. POSITIVE: The Unit was lovely, well furnished, clean and completely adequate for our purposes. It was one block from the beach, well within walking distance. The beach was gorgeous. The condo complex had a lovely pool, as well as laundry facilities, deck with BBQ and parking for one car. Our neighbors were friendly. NEGATIVE: INTERNET. The ad said "high speed WIFI access available". I was counting on that, since I had to download some large files for work. yes it was a vacation, but I still had to do some work, like so many people these days. We also like watching Netflix in the evenings and I had my Apple TV with me. Not only was there no high speed Internet, there was NO INTERNET AT ALLl, at least not within the Unit. When I called to complain, I was told that the individual units don't have internet, only the condo complex has a free WiFi, but it doesn't work very well. Apparently it's cable and it's overloaded. I was able to get some access outside of the Unit, but it was painfully slow, barely enough to get e-mail, no streaming or downloading of anything. it also constantly dropped out. When I called the realtor, they told me that the small print says that they never guarantee wifi access. I feel that this is FALSE ADVERTISING. Internet access is important enough these days, that the consumer should be warned, if there is a problem with access. I finally managed to get around the problem by making a WiFi hotspot via cellular data with my iPad, but I had to purchase extra data to do so. I was able to download my files, but not to stream, since that would have been extremely expensive. So in SUMMARY: If you don't need internet access, then this is a great option and I would give it 5 Stars. If you need internet access and you're not willing to pay premium rates for it, then stay away (1 star)
