Smelled of septic, rodent issue and handy man stopped by to "kill some mice", house was filthy with dirty tissue on night stand although we paid a $350 cleaning fee. Brought all of this up to coastline along with other concerns (no shades in bedroom, pool didn't full function) - they said homeowner wouldn't do anything so they were out. No advocacy or consideration. Not as advertised. Very disappointing. Buyer beware.

I arrived just before 3:00, walked away from my car, and paid through the ParkMobile app which, of course, does not require you to physically stand next to your vehicle to pay. The only option was to pay in an 8-hour increment, so I paid for the full 8 hours even though I only needed to park for about 10 minutes. When I returned to my car at approximately 3:10, three people from the business were staring at me and there was a note left on my car. They told me I needed to pay for parking. I politely said, "Okay, thanks," and went to get into my car. One of them then felt the need to comment that they had my license plate number. I explained that I had already paid, but instead of simply accepting that, they were rude, dismissive, and acted as though they didn't believe me before storming back inside. I actually pulled up my ParkMobile app and showed them proof that I had paid. I paid for 8 hours of parking to be there for 10 minutes. There was absolutely no reason for the hostility or attitude. People are visiting Cape May to enjoy themselves and are perfectly willing to follow the parking rules. If you don't want the public parking in your lot, then perhaps you shouldn't partner with ParkMobile and offer paid public parking there. A little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way. The entire interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant. 10/10 wouldn't recommend it there.

It was clearly decorated by someone who watched too much HGTV (as evident by the 80" magazines left in the parlor) and filled with personal pictures and knick knacks throughout the house (think of staying at your grandmothers). After leaving (and cleaning thoroughly), the owners sent a letter making a number of over inflated and erroneous claims against us. (*side note- 30 years of going to Cape May, never a single complaint against us). All Jersey Cape Realty did was simply forward the owners information to us. They stepped out of the situation and never offered to provide any assistance in resolving the problems- not even a solid comment in the email-- just a simple "copy and paste"!. I work in real estate in Maryland. It is common in cases like this for me to personally go to the property, perform my own inspections, and try to help mediate. However, working in real estate I know when a brokerage firm is nothing more than a nameplate- they run at the first sign of trouble and leave the "worker bees" alone to fight it out. I was terribly disappointing in the lack of service. With groups like this- it is apparent why technology it taking over this industry and boutique firms are going by the wayside. The service we hoped for never appeared and our memories are now tainted.

Began to notice a damp/moldy smell and saw that there was also dehumidifier on. Went upstairs to see if it was any cooler. The ONLY full bathroom was unsanitary- mold/rust everywhere. The window AC units were full of dust and dirt, not cleaned and filtering out unhealthy air. Unacceptable conditions, especially in COVID-19. It was too unsafe/unhealthy to spend the night. As a pregnant woman, I would not risk my health nor my unborn child's growth/development. Called/emailed home renter (did not answer). Immediately vacated the rental and drove 3+ hours back home.

Utilizing Sol Needles for approximately 12 of the 16 years. Each year it is like pulling a tooth to make contact with Bill to obtain the next years lease. Voices left, emails never returned. If contact was made usually an resolution never came. Multiple years we have reached out to get shafted on the rentals due to his ignorance to customers. The final straw was this years fiasco. I emailed Bill sometime around May/June to re-rent the same house on Decatur. No response was ever received. A phone call to the company in Mid August and was put in touch with Bill who advised he would look into it. No responding email to confirm/deny the rental. An additional phone call in the beginning of October I was advised that the owner was now going to be using their property that weekend. Totally understandable but if we were able to book it months ago would we have able to rent. Did they see no one was renting and decided to go last minute. Unfortunately because of Bill the Broker/owner lack of response allowed this? Luckily we found another rental company and was able to secure a rental within a few hours of reaching out. Make sure if you go to rent in Cape May look to other agencies to get a quick, efficient response.

We rented the Red Fox Suites place for a special birthday weekend in September 2022. When we arrived, we found pubic hair, red and brown stains on the mattress pad in one of the bedrooms, the toilet was clogged, there was black mold on shower curtain, and a disgusting smell as if something had died. When we ran cloths over the surface of everything, there was a brown film collected. We called the listing agent, Century 21 Gilmartin and spoke with an agent, who really could care less. We wanted to move to another place to stay, but there was no availability. We cannot put into words how disgusting this place was. We contacted Airbnb who offered to refund $250 (and thus admitting fault), when we wanted the entire amount of $1,561 refunded. The special weekend was ruined, no one slept well, and our clothes & suitcases still had the disgusting smell on them when we returned home, even when we washed our clothes a few times. My daughter said everyone wants a clean bed to sleep in when on vacation, except we did not get it. The owner and listing agent should be ashamed of themselves to rent such squalor to people who just want a decent vacation. This place is a slum!!!!
