BRAVO! What an incredible performance at Cadamomo! I wasn't sure what to expect at first,…read moreespecially since the location is right in the middle of a cluster of restaurants in an alley. But after seeing two performances in Granada, I can confidently say that while this may not be in the heart of Andalusia, the birthplace of Flamenco, the dancers here are exceptionally well-trained and the show is of an impressively high caliber. I bought my tickets in advance, which allowed me to choose my own seats. I couldn't snag a spot directly in the center front, but I managed to get a front-row seat on the side. I was worried I was in a section that would be neglected, but not once did I feel that way during the performances. The dancers make sure they are visible to both sides and never focus on just one section. What makes this show different is that you're not only treated to a male and female dancer, but you also get the added bonus of a third performer. As the night unfolds, the tablet in front of you provides descriptions of each upcoming dance, its theme, and a brief intro to the dancer. These performers didn't just grow up around flamenco--they were born into it, raised with it, and formally trained in it. Seriously, spectacular and what a vision to see!! You won't regret it!!! Logistics: Upon arrival, you'll check in and will be greeted with a complimentary welcome drink of either sangria or water. The sangria was delicious, but when will you ever get a bad sangria in Spain?? For those needing a meal, you can order your food and drinks at the table and will have your order brought right to your seat.

You can purchase tickets ahead of time online and there are a couple different tiers, which impact where you are seated. Opted for the second to best seating as I thought front row would be too jarring on the neck (in retrospect, it wouldn't have been, but out seats were still fantastic). Ticket includes a welcome beverage and you can also pre-order food on your ticket too. Arrived to the show on time and got a welcome glass of white sangria. It was solid, and refreshing. Show began more or less on time. Multiple acts throughout the one hour performance. There was one on guitar, one on hand drums, and two vocalist, accompanied by three performers. Performances were mostly solo acts but there was maybe 20% of duos or trios. Overall really impressive. I don't have any other flamenco show to compare it to so I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience and would recommend it.

Came here for the 10:30pm flamenco show, having reserved online a few days in advance. 40 euros gets you in to the show and includes 1 drink. It may seem a bit pricey (there are cheaper options in the city for sure), but it is 100% worth it if you want to see authentic flamenco in an intimate space. The seating area is not huge, but best of all, seats are kind of on an angle. So even if you are near the back, you can see the footwork. This is really great, because so many flamenco tablaos I went to in Andalucia were really cramped and basically if you are not in the front few tables, you cannot see any of the dancers' feet. Anyways, the calendar on the website will tell you who is dancing and who is performing on guitar and cante (singing). They get a lot of excellent artists here. The performance had one intermission and went until ~midnight. The dining area is at the front and the stage and performance space are in a smaller separate room in the back. Servers bring the drinks to you so you don't have to get up to go to the bar. Like many places in Spain, once you sit down you get a little bowl of nibbles, such as nuts. Overall, an incredible and moving experience with top notch performers. Plus, the location is very central, just a few blocks from Puerta del Sol. Because of the location perhaps, there will be a fair number of foreigners in the audience, but rest assured that what you are seeing here is the real deal.

It's a cute Lil hole in the wall style tavern and they said it is one of the oldest places with flamenco shows. The inside looks super old school and nice. A few cons, the chairs are super uncomfortable. They are made of straw and after a while, I was hurting lol the tables are quit small as well which caused some accidental spills due to the lack of space. Other than that, it was a great place to visit! I would recommend it to anyone in the area!

The staff is outstanding, always there to help We stayed 3 nights, would have stayed 4, but our first time there they were fully booked for the next night. On our return trip we made sure we booked the 2 nights ahead of time. We had started our trip in Budapest where our Viking river cruise began. It was our first time on such a fancy trip. We are Pilgrims at heart, which is why we extended our trip for 3 more weeks. We ended in Amsterdam but took a train to Lourdes, then Bayonne, we were looking to hike an obscure Camino route " Camino del Batzon". It went from Bayonne to Pamplona. After our first day we found how obscure it was, Almost all the hotels had shut down due to lack of pilgrims. Time for plan B, we decided to go directly to Pamplona. We backtracked to Bayonne, then a bus to Pamplona, where our first stay was at this hotel. What a great city and made better by our hosts, so we hiked from Pamplona to Longrona and back. This was our shortest Camino, but I can now say I've been on all 5 of the major ones. Three complete from 2015, over 850 kilometers and 4 credentials We have stayed in Alburques on every Camino, so don't think this is an "Alburque", it's a nice place to re center. So thank you Hotel Campanilla for making everything easy and welcoming of Pilgrims. Buen Camino.

It is a cozy atmosphere of perhaps 100 or so people in a half-circle around a small stage. Metal chairs could all use some cushion, or bring your thick sweatshirt to sit on for the 70-ish minute show. Intimate atmosphere, intense connection with the audience, passionate plucking on a flamenco guitar echoing against the curved brick. What an engaging performance by a couple dancers and musicians. Just the right length of time to give you a taste of this art form. No matter what their web site says, it is best not to have children under 10, or children who cannot be quiet or sit still enough to respect the performers, at any time of day or night. A child far too young for this environment did detract and distract from our show, and came dangerously close to the performers in this tight space. Be courteous, parents. Unless your kid is hypnotically enthralled by all song, dance, and instrumentals, do leave them home. Otherwise, this was a terrific performance preceded by a pre-show drink you can bring down to the cave with you to finish during the show. On a side note, I had no real interest in a Flamenco demonstration before, and only booked this because another member of our party wanted to go. However, seeing this show live in the cave, only a few feet from the stomping feet and strumming instruments, I must say it was a tremendously different and enriching experience than seeing a YouTube video or hearing a sample of this music. It was worth going, and a very enjoyable experience.

It is literally that hidden gem, a cozy cellar gig with probably 30-40 people in three rows. Zero frills. They politely toss you a complimentary sangria, then give you a 5‑minute history lesson. After that, one singer, one guitarist, a box-drum or two, and dancers so close you could theoretically moonwalk onto their stage. Traditional flamenco realness, no nonsense. THIS is the way to see flamenco. Bravo.

The flamenco show was great. I'm not a connoisseur, but it was a great experience. I don't regret that at all. I reserved our tickets in advance on their website, and got a confirmation number. However, their system doesn't seem to send an email confirmation. So it's a good thing I put the confirmation number on my calendar! We booked the first (17:30) show with dinner reservations. The website suggests arriving 30 minutes early, so we arrived at 17:00. A few other people also arrived about that time. However, the door was locked. We rang the bell, and they told us that they would not open until 17:30. Weird, but no biggie... we hung out down the street. At 17:30, we went back, and were seated. But it was mostly empty... just us and a couple other people. But, there were plenty of staff, and they got us drinks and we were enjoying ourselves. Then some time passed, and more time passed. Eventually, around 19:00, more people started to arrive, and it was clear that the show would start later. I think what happened is they did not sell enough tickets for the 17:30 show. So instead of cancelling it and offering to let us attend one of the later shows, they just seated us and let us sit for 90 minutes until we joined the group for the later show. This worked out fine for us, though I wish they would have communicated it. It felt like they were leaving us out. The food at the restaurant was very good. We particularly liked the potato soup, which is really good. They also had a nice wine selection to pair it with. However, the restaurant is quite expensive, and I didn't think that it was really justified given that the show was also expensive. If I were to do it again, I think what I would do is sign up for just the show only, and have dinner elsewhere either before or after the show.
