We tried this dance studio for my daughter, who is 3 years old. She was in the Twinkle Toes session. Ultimately, I decided to pull her out because I didn't feel that 30-minute classes for $85 a month were worth it, especially considering the commute we have to make to get there. Classes are twice a week Monday and Saturday and I also wasn't very impressed with the program itself. It didn't feel like much of a dance class. It was more like the kids were running around to songs. There was some bubble blowing, and in one class, the instructor even read a book. I was hoping for more structure and actual dance instruction. I also made the mistake of purchasing a dance outfit and shoes from their storefront because I thought my daughter would need a uniform. However, on the first day of class, I was told that her age group didn't require one. A couple of days later, I saw the order status change to "ready for pickup," but when we went to get it, we were told nothing was there. I kept trying to call, but no one ever answered only a text thread for follow-up. I continued checking, but nothing was ever actually ready. When we decided to cancel on 5/2, I had already been billed $85, and we still didn't have her outfit or shoes. I reached out via text that Saturday (since they don't answer the phone) and didn't hear anything back. I followed up again on Sunday (5/3) and still got no response. Finally, on Monday (5/4), I heard back and was asked to fill out a cancellation form. After submitting the form, I was told the outfit had arrived and that I could come pick it up. I responded the same day asking if the outfit could be refunded, but I never received a reply. Keep in mind, the outfit is branded with their dance logo. Since we canceled, there's really no reason for us to keep it especially because the class we were in didn't even require uniforms. Wednesday and Thursday passed with no response. Finally, I reached out again early Friday morning asking for a follow-up. I received this response: "Hello! Sorry about the delay. I have reached out about your refund and am just waiting to hear back. I'll keep you updated!" Then later, I was told, "Unfortunately, we don't issue refunds, but we can apply that amount to your account for future purchases." Future purchases after we just canceled the membership. Overall, if you have a child under 4, I wouldn't recommend this studio. And if you value communication and good customer service, I also wouldn't recommend it. I feel like a lot of this could have been avoided if they had clearly explained what the classes involve, what the kids would actually be doing, the dress code requirements, and their no-refund policy upfront. I had the same experience as Sarah R. in the review below. My wife had communicated with one of the employees at centerstage that my daughter was going to try another sport and not continue with dance. Tylene Nichols claims that that wasn't adequate. She admits that there was a misunderstanding, but insist on charging us for services, not received. My advice would be to not use this company at all, but if you choose to enroll your child. Do not give them access to your credit card. Tylene claimed that she has a 30 day drop policy. The contract we signed was 14 days. See attachments read more

SO.. This studio is nice. Has high ceilings. I don't like the music for dancing in heels, I enjoy hip hop and trap and they play slow rock. It's hard for me to get into. They also own Tucson pole, which is a run down shanty excuse of a studio. The instructors at both are amazing though. Also, I had a friend who recently had to move to PHX for work. Instead of being understanding and letting her end her contract they were rude and basically told her she still has to pay $100 a month even though she isnt able to use their facilities. This took them from 2 stars to 1 from me. They aren't very willing to work with you, and seem to be money hungry. read more

Omg I had an absolutely amazing experience last night! The studio is so cool and I absolutely loved the vibe the second I walked in! I can't even tell you how awesome Melissa is btw! I couldn't have felt more relaxed and happy during her lesson if I tried. I already booked my next class for this Monday night and I signed up for the unlimited membership as well. I think it's awesome that they make sure the classes are affordable and flexible. Oh yeah, and they have an app which is super cool for scheduling. read more

I have such a new found respect for girls who work the pole. This is HARD. I bought a month of unlimited classes on Groupon after going back and forth on whether to purchase the full month or not. I'm really glad I went with the month. I'll definitely do a contract when my month is up. The studio is incredibly clean and the lower lighting makes it less intimidating to be on a pole for the first time. I'm so glad I found something that's a great workout and is incredibly fun! I've only taken two classes with Emily so far, but I'm signed up for two more this week alone. My body hurts everywhere, but it's such a good pain! read more

I've been going to centre stage on and off for the past 2 years. I like how clean the pole studio is here compared to most places and their staff is friendly. They often have deals to get cheaper classes and a contract option. It is mostly a pole studio, they have lyra once a week and silks often but it lacks more advanced instruction. The pole classes are the specialty and they have a number of well qualified instructors. I often see kids learning pole and aerial as well. The studio has high enough ceilings for pole but not high enough for trickier drops on silks. I enjoy getting stronger and more flexible at this studio. They have everything you need. They sometimes have interesting events such as themed ladies' nights which look really fun. Everyone is a friend to each other since most people are regulars. The occupancy of each class is a mixed bag. Some classes are so crowded while others might be close to a private lesson. The structure of each class usually involves about 30 minute warm up with the other 30 minutes on the apparatus. Pricing and scheduling is located on their website and app. This business is unique and quite niche but if you like to try new things I would use their 3 class package or a groupon. If you do venture in this realm I hope you have fun. read more
