In the year of the Expo, Milan's infrastructures have come under serious scrutiny. And, though some have passed (none quite with flying colors), Centrale's subway station is definitely NOT one of those. The info point is filled with personnel equipped with bad attitude and little to no english knowledge.
Great (in theory) was the idea of having staff helping those trying to purchase tickets at the kiosks, though oftentimes it just they want to approach only cute girls with no intention of helping but jisy flirting.
Today, I have witnessed a staff member telling a lady who was asking for directions towards EXPO to get lost (FAR WORSE terms were used) because he had already told her and didn't want to explain it a second time.
Since this is our welcoming committee and a business card to all those tourists who may wanna come back, i wonder if we seriously need these people representing us.
The staff should know english, be costumer-oriented and certainly a whole lot more patient with all those that are lost and seeking directions. read more
