WOW is all we can say. Carrie and August were fantastic. We hired Treasures to Find to do a living…read moreestate sale (which several companies will not do) because we needed to de-clutter so we could list our house for sale. That gave them challenges as far as which rooms were open and which items were not to be sold. Worse, the week of the sale, AT&T decided to drill for fiber and close all street parking on our street! But Carrie and co. pivoted to a Sat-Sun sale instead of Fri-Sat with no problem. It took them several days to sort through, set up and price everything. We were not to be there the days of the sale and had to be out of the way during setup so we just went out of town for the week--that's how trustworthy Treasures to Find is! Nothing was stolen or broken. Carrie communicated with us most of the way so we were in the know. Even better, for a fee, they removed everything that wasn't sold after the sale so we came home to a nice empty place. Only downside/suggestions for improvement would be better retention of communications--we had to reiterate our wishes and specifics several times--totally understandable due to their having multiple sales going on simultaneously, but it would be good to write all that down so nothing is forgotten. (Only a couple items were sold that we didn't want sold, but the really important stuff was not, and that's what mattered.) Make sure you make your wishes clear and ask as many questions up front. Marketing was GREAT. They generated a lot of pre-interest via their website, Facebook and elsewhere. And when all was over, what a pleasant surprise! Gross sales and net profits were about 5x what we expected, even with their commission! Carrie and August were nicely surprised as well. We give Treasures to Find our highest recommendation!

Lisa (owner) was abrasive and on the razor edge of being rude. She complained out loud multiple times that she should never have taken a last minute sale, and that stress showed in how people were treated. I'm assuming this was the pressure of a last-minute job and not her overall personality. However, when a business carries your name, there is even more motivation to being aware of the environment you're creating and the experience customers 'receive. The support staff were a different story. They were very kind and helpful, especially the older couple and the woman on oxygen. I apologize for not knowing their names because they deserve recognition.

It's hard to fully express how grateful we are for Tammy and John…read more We brought them in during a deeply emotional time, and from the very beginning, they made us feel supported and safe. Entrusting someone with a lifetime of belongings -- many of which held both financial and sentimental value -- is not easy. Tammy and John handled everything with extraordinary care, transparency, and integrity. At no point did we question their honesty or judgment. We felt completely confident in their process and deeply respected in every decision. Beyond the estate liquidation itself, they went above and beyond to help coordinate repairs, painting, cleaning, and landscaping to prepare the home for sale. They are not only capable professionals -- they are people you can truly trust. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

Went with my family and the man told us to come back at 5 and it will be half price, I asked him what time they close and he said 2 or 3 . I said so shouldn't I be back around that time he said you can but we will be here until 5 cleaning up. So my mother and I went back at 2:30 and he said oh welcome back ladies and asked what we came back for and I proceeded to ask him if he is honoring his word about it being half price and he said well I will do my best to talk the other lady down. We then told him we were interested in the cedar chest that was marked 65 and he went and talked with the lady and she said she could do 40 so we passed. As we were going out through the garage she said oh you ladies are still here and I said no we laughed and came back because the gentleman said that if we came back at five or after they closed that it would be half price and she said well he shouldn't have said that we're really tired and it's been a long day yada yada yada. So I then said well how much is the chair the rocker she said she could do 40 and it was originally 50 and I said well it's really sad that you guys aren't honoring what the gentleman said and again she proceeded to tell me how tired they were. Then the gentleman came out into the garage and she asked him. Did you tell these ladies if they came back that they could get 50% off and he says no and I said are you serious? You're calling me a liar I said did you not tell me to come back at five and he said is it five yet in a smart ass way and I said you know it just forget it you guys are the most rudest un honest people I've ever dealt with, and we go to a lot of estate sales. So then I proceeded to tell her that she was going to get a very nice review from me and she says just take the chair don't threaten me with a bad review. I said that Man just called me a liar and I am not a liar and then he contradicted himself by saying is it five yet I said I will never come back to one of your estate sales. She also tried to make us feel stupid like we didn't know what we were looking at and how much it is actually worth. She was very rude to my daughter also earlier in the day. If I could give no stars, that's what I would give. This is in response to your comment, you offered me the chair for free after I said I was going to leave you a nice review. Might I add that you were yelling at me from across the street as I was walking to my car?

I highly recommend working with Estate of Affairs for estate liquidation. They were kind,…read moreefficient, and did an excellent job maximizing the value of my dad's estate. Context: When my father passed, he left behind a house (in Tracy) packed with 30 years of collecting cookware, books, art, records, telescopes, camping gear, and clothes. He also left behind 3 storage units. I had spent a couple of months trying to make sense of things, and then realized I wasn't making progress on my own. James responded within a day to my initial inquiry, and then toured my dad's property and advised there was so much stuff that we should probably do 2 separate estate sales. From the beginning, he was transparent about his process and professional. Once preparation started, his team came in quickly to sort and display SO much stuff, and priced it to move while also maximizing the value of items sold. Things were priced as small knick knacks up to thousand dollars+ telescopes and stereo equipment. I really appreciated the time the team took to look up these specialty items so they could get their fair value while still being sold within the time of the estate sale. Some other nice touches: I gave James his own codes for entry and arming/disarming the house, which allowed him to self-manage estate sale prep. He always made it clear when his team was to be expected on site. James consistently checked in with me about anything he had questions about (e.g. what to do about items that probably wouldn't sell due to damage, or if I was okay doing a second day.) His team took the time to set aside any personal items that I hadn't yet uncovered within the boxes in my dad's house. It's also clear that EoA's marketing system works really well, as I heard from a neighbor there was a line down the block to get in. After the sales, I worked with EoA to finish clearing out my dad's house to prepare it for sale. They left the house spotless, and even took the time to lay out missing closet doors that had been uncovered. I can't recommend working with James and his team enough. I was able to reclaim my life and also made enough money to put towards my kids' college fund.

BEWARE! Grason…read moreliquidator of Stanislaus County did not do its due diligence when approached by Justin B Horner (1 beneficiaries of 3) of an Irrevocable Trust for our parents. He sought to have the entire household and all collectables liquidated without notifying the other trustees, as an estate sale, in April 2026. Grason formally entered into a contract with Justin B Horner and conducted a three day liquidation sale posting 710 photos to their website as a "Collectors Dream". The only way the other beneficiaries found out was when they physically entered the home in July 2026 and found a single sign from Grason still attached to a wall. At that point Grason was contacted and told that Justin represented himself as sole heir and then they refused to provide the original contract and any documentation accounting for the sale. Grason's has since been contact by the other 2 trustees attorney and a Supenoa was electronically served and Grason's are still not complying with court order to turn over those documents. BEWARE!

Misty is awesome!! Seriously. Look no further…read more We needed an estate sale with very little (less than two weeks) notice. Misty took the job, digging through literally mountains of boxes, some of them with creatures living in them, and got everything organized in less than a week. The house and the goods looked great. She advertised in multiple places, and there was a line of people waiting on the first day. She ran a successful sale over three days, getting rid of roughly 90% of the stuff. Then she and her crew hauled away (and donated or trashed) much of what was left, leaving very little that needed to be taken to the dump. And finally she cleaned the house top to bottom, requiring nothing from me in order to return it to the landlord. On top of all of this, she's a very nice, compassionate person. Hire this company!
