We hired Treasures to Find to do a living…read moreestate sale (which several companies will not do) because we needed to de-clutter so we could list our house for sale. That gave them challenges as far as which rooms were open and which items were not to be sold. Worse, the week of the sale, AT&T decided to drill for fiber and close all street parking on our street! But Carrie and co. pivoted to a Sat-Sun sale instead of Fri-Sat with no problem. It took them several days to sort through, set up and price everything. We were not to be there the days of the sale and had to be out of the way during setup so we just went out of town for the week--that's how trustworthy Treasures to Find is! Nothing was stolen or broken. Carrie communicated with us most of the way so we were in the know. Even better, for a fee, they removed everything that wasn't sold after the sale so we came home to a nice empty place. Only downside/suggestions for improvement would be better retention of communications--we had to reiterate our wishes and specifics several times--totally understandable due to their having multiple sales going on simultaneously, but it would be good to write all that down so nothing is forgotten. (Only a couple items were sold that we didn't want sold, but the really important stuff was not, and that's what mattered.) Make sure you make your wishes clear and ask as many questions up front. Marketing was GREAT. They generated a lot of pre-interest via their website, Facebook and elsewhere. And when all was over, what a pleasant surprise! Gross sales and net profits were about 5x what we expected, even with their commission! Carrie and August were nicely surprised as well. We give Treasures to Find our highest recommendation!

Context: When my father passed, he left behind a house (in Tracy) packed with 30 years of collecting cookware, books, art, records, telescopes, camping gear, and clothes. He also left behind 3 storage units. I had spent a couple of months trying to make sense of things, and then realized I wasn't making progress on my own. James responded within a day to my initial inquiry, and then toured my dad's property and advised there was so much stuff that we should probably do 2 separate estate sales. From the beginning, he was transparent about his process and professional. Once preparation started, his team came in quickly to sort and display SO much stuff, and priced it to move while also maximizing the value of items sold. Things were priced as small knick knacks up to thousand dollars+ telescopes and stereo equipment. I really appreciated the time the team took to look up these specialty items so they could get their fair value while still being sold within the time of the estate sale. Some other nice touches: I gave James his own codes for entry and arming/disarming the house, which allowed him to self-manage estate sale prep. He always made it clear when his team was to be expected on site. James consistently checked in with me about anything he had questions about (e.g. what to do about items that probably wouldn't sell due to damage, or if I was okay doing a second day.) His team took the time to set aside any personal items that I hadn't yet uncovered within the boxes in my dad's house. It's also clear that EoA's marketing system works really well, as I heard from a neighbor there was a line down the block to get in. After the sales, I worked with EoA to finish clearing out my dad's house to prepare it for sale. They left the house spotless, and even took the time to lay out missing closet doors that had been uncovered. I can't recommend working with James and his team enough. I was able to reclaim my life and also made enough money to put towards my kids' college fund.

The cashiers were rude, especially the gentleman. I will never attend their sales again nor will my mother in law that got trampled on by one of their workers in the livingroom as she was looking at the crystal animals. When we arrived, my mother and I both observed how nicely all items were staged within the home, extending into the garage and additionally, the back yard. Items were neatly organized by category in the appropriate rooms which seems obvious, but I felt the attention to detail at this particular sale was impressive. Lots of quality furniture, linens, kitchen decor, art and so much more! Amazing customer service; all the employees were friendly and I got the sense that they were a strong team together. They routinely circulated throughout the home which made it easy for us to ask questions. They communicated well amongst each other and tracked all attendees purchases without any confusion. They permitted my mother and I to set aside a bundle of items for purchase and helped us bring the heavier items to the cashier station. Towards the end of our walk-thru of the property and before we completed our transactions, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Lisa. I want to thank her for being so professional and kind and engaging in conversation with me. I'm now on their email list and receive notifications on upcoming sales and am looking forward to many more estate sale events!

I showed up at 2 and started poking around, at which point a woman rudely told me that they were closed. I said that the ad said 3:00 and she even more rudely said, "it changed." Misty took the job, digging through literally mountains of boxes, some of them with creatures living in them, and got everything organized in less than a week. The house and the goods looked great. She advertised in multiple places, and there was a line of people waiting on the first day. She ran a successful sale over three days, getting rid of roughly 90% of the stuff. Then she and her crew hauled away (and donated or trashed) much of what was left, leaving very little that needed to be taken to the dump. And finally she cleaned the house top to bottom, requiring nothing from me in order to return it to the landlord. On top of all of this, she's a very nice, compassionate person. Hire this company!
