His caring for us girls didn't go unnoticed either- he made sure all girls were accounted for every time we got on the bus, used his flashlight to make sure we didn't fall off the bus when getting off, and made sure we were safe getting back on the bus, shielding us from oncoming cars. He even surprised us and decorated the inside of the bus when we thought it would be plain. The inside of the bus had a cooler for your drinks, a bar for your snacks with cup holders, and Jon came equipped with water bottles, some chips, and a fun music playlist. They start on time, so don't mess around and miss the bus (though not sure they'd leave anyone, it's a friendly place). Mikie communicated expectations well from the jump and got us to and from safely. Trevor was a great raft guide, clearly loves what he does, and as far as I could tell, does it well. Would row for him again for sure. Rode a raft with a family my partner and I didn't know, it was a good time all around. Will probably hit up another tour next summer for fun, was worth it. Tips? Kinda? You could easily hit this and another outing in one day. Set your timing right and you could ride and then raft, this is certainly a good time but it doesn't take long door to door. If you care about pics sit in the front. If you're worried about rowing, don't sit on the right for big eddy (the guide will likely seat folks for safety and row power anyhow). Not sure I need to say this but I will, there isn't a dry seat on the raft. The road to the spot is bumpy, sit toward the front if that bothers you. If your kids not taller than an oar, they likely won't get one. There are two spots you'll be offered to jump in.

Very knowledgeable, whimsical, lighthearted, and free spirited. The perfect person to lead an adventure into the Oregon wilderness. Our trip started with a short van ride from the Fred Meyer parking lot. She shared lots of knowledge about various trees in the area, wildlife, things the local government was doing to help clean up some of the territory we're gonna be going to explore the cave. She seemed like somebody who genuinely enjoys her job, likes to explore, and is just a genuine, good person all around. Going into the cave was surreal, almost like stepping into a different climate. It definitely felt like it was 45° all year round down there. Once we lost the natural lighting too it became very spooky, but everybody had headlamps so it was pretty easy to see where we were going. My wife and I saw a few baby brown bats hanging out on the walls while we were there. They were so tiny and cute! I'm glad they're able to survive down there. I really like that her tour guy gave us a choice between one of two directions into the cave. I have really bad knees, and thankfully, our tour guide, and our group was able to respect that. We had a very good lighthearted adventure down in the dark. My favorite part was when we all got to turn off our headlamps for a little bit, and stay silent, and just enjoy utter blackness. Deathly felt like a good way to de-stress a little. Shay was a fantastic tour guide and we are definitely going to be using this to our group again in the near future. Thanks for the memories!

A change to our party 1 week prior was dealt with quickly and kindly, including a follow up call just to be sure we were taken care of. Our tour leader was super friendly and knowledgeable about local ecology. I learned so much! The snowshoes had great bindings-- no one had them come loose. (Poles would have been helpful. I would bring my own next time) The bonfire was amazing and the goodies were tasty. Nature did her part with a sparkling clear night, brilliant moon and meteor. I will definitely do another tour with Wanderlust!

I would not recommend Pacific Crest Bus Lines. On my trip from Bend to Portland, the driver…read moreannounced before departure that the restroom had not been emptied by the previous driver and told passengers that if they felt sick, they should use the wastebasket at the front of the bus instead. To make matters worse, the bus smelled terrible for the entire five-hour trip. It was an unpleasant and unsanitary environment, and no one should have to travel in those conditions. A bus should be properly cleaned and serviced before passengers are asked to board. I hope the company improves its maintenance and sanitation standards so other travelers don't have the same experience.

It was 1 pm Gina said " we'll meet at the car at 5:30" She gave no map or suggestions for lunch on our own or other noted things to do there. -Usually left about 10 am, traveled over windy country roads for an hour or more with no music or culture talks to ancient monasteries and fortified towns with minimal insights. -One night an included dinner consisted of soup and water in a rural inn.

We received the green light the morning of as they had promised. From the second Will and Gwen greeted us, to us saying good bye at the end of the day we felt safe and well taken care of. They communicated the expectations clearly. They navigated the insane "load in" area. I mean insane. Other companies had big buses and way too many people for each guide available. Glad we launched so quickly and efficiently. Once underway they navigated the river and stopping spots with excellence and ease. Truly. They had a system and plan and made it feel like we were the only ones on a very busy river. Super sick trip and we are super thankful to their entire team. There were 2 groups booked the day of our rafting adventure and we lucked out and had our own raft and guide. The two rafts worked together and had a great report throughout the day. Once on the river our guides immediately pulled us to the side to jump off some rocks which set the tone for the fun to be had. The excursion went from one adventure to the next. The guides were extremely communicative. At no point in the day did I feel unsure, unsafe, or have a sense that I didn't know what was expected of me.
