There's available parking which was always difficult when we used to go to a clinic in MPLS so that is a star in itself. We had a very thorough appointment of scans X-rays and photos, super fast quick and easy. Everyone was friendly and professional and then we spoke to the doctor came up with a plan. They answered all of our questions and made things very easy for us to understand. They have an incentive program for the kids, Ortho bucks - they get a tshirt and earn bucks for being early, following on socials and wearing their tshirt to their appointment. Pretty cool!

I would not recommend this dental office based on my experience…read more I had 5 fillings done here in January, and I have had constant pain ever since. Shortly after the procedure I began experiencing severe sensitivity to hot, cold, and even room temperature food/drinks. The pain lingers and I now deal with random throbbing throughout the day. This is not normal and has not improved with time. When I went back to have this addressed, I asked to see a different dentist/team for a second set of eyes. They adjusted my bite and applied fluoride, but nothing changed. I was then told that if it still hurt after two months, it likely wouldn't get better. When I first asked for my X-rays, I was told they typically only send them to another dentist and was encouraged to come back in instead. Now that I've decided to seek a second opinion elsewhere, they sent my X-rays immediately with no attempt to resolve the issue further. The procedure itself was also a terrible experience. The numbing injection was extremely painful and sent a shock through my entire body that briefly left me feeling paralyzed. I have never had dental pain like this in my life, and it has significantly affected what and how I eat. At this point, I am seeking care elsewhere. If you value your health and comfort, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to treatment here.

They send intimidating text messages and bills that they held until over due and does not give patient time to reach out to insurance company. Tell you they take insurance but does not follow thru like other dental clinics do. Sent me out the door after my appointment saying they will contact me with a care plan. Never heard from them other than a big bill that should not have happened if the office person would have done their job as a patient would expect. Bad administration. I agree with another reviewer that the inability to schedule my next cleaning is a drawback because I'm not going to remember to call in 5-6 months and if I do I'll consistently put it off for far too long. Being able to schedule it and plug it into my phone with a reminder alert would be super helpful to keep me accountable. But I knew I needed to major check up. I called at the end of a business day after briefly looking on Yelp and Pearl Dental was the first office to pick up and I sure am glad that this did! The office is easy to find and it's beautiful inside! Modern, bright, and especially clean. The exam rooms have big windows overlooking a small pond. The staff are some of the friendliest I have met in a medical office! Dr. Chris Mertensotto was on time and super friendly, and funny! He explained to me in detail what I needed to know and made sure I understood it. Today I went back after just about two months since my very first visit and was greeted instantly by several of the office workers who said, "Nice to see you back here, it's been awhile!" That made me feel very welcomed. Stacy was my dental hygienist today and she was super friendly and informative! I felt very comfortable with her and she made sure to educate me on the best way for me to take care of my teeth. This is the best dental office I have ever been to and I will definitely be recommending them!
