When we moved to Princeton, I was so happy to discover a Princeton office as well! Now the kids see Dr. Mitch and he's great, too! Both locations we've been to have been clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. There is a game room to keep the kids busy while we wait. They look forward to getting their bag of stickers, tattoos and freebies, along with a balloon animal after their checkup. They get handed a hand-held video game while they get their teeth cleaned. Even my 3yo had a tear-free first cleaning. They do everything possible to ensure kids have a positive, fun experience at the dentist and my kids are always excited to go back every 6 mo. Where were places like this when I was a kid?? Dr. Dennis and Dr. Mitch, keep up the good work in offering a kid-focused dental experience.

Kids get to choose stickers and a toy after the appointment too, which is a big plus for my kiddo. My 3 year old has been 3 times now for check-ups, and this past time he was particularly concerned about being at the dentist. He did major work on my son at Childrens hospital when he was a toddler. Both my children love going to him. He really cares about the best interest of his children and only prescribes work when it is absolutely necessary . He does not use needles for numbing. His staff is also amazing, kind and friendly. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. I wish I could go here !! I am so proud that our children have had a positive experience with dentistry. If I could give ZERO stars, I would…read more Before the appointment, I explained to my son that we would not be doing X-rays that day because we needed to leave quickly afterward, and he was already feeling anxious about them. I reassured him that would take care of the X-rays at the next appointment so he wouldn't need to worry about them. I also communicated this clearly to the hygenist. Despite that, she responded that X-rays were required that day and then told my son, "Sorry your mom told you that we weren't going to do X-rays today, but we actually are." This caused him to panic, and their attempts to calm him only escalated the situation. Their approach felt unnecessarily forceful and lacked sensitivity. After the cleaning, we waited approximately an hour for the doctor to come speak with us. Ultimately, we had to inform the staff that we could not wait any longer and left. We never recieved a follow-up call or any acknowledgement or apology for the excessive wait time. As a result of this experience, I cancelled all further appointments and transferred my child to a different dental provider. Three months later, I received a text message thanking me for booking a cleaning - an appointment I never scheduled. When I called to inquire, I was told that they automatically rebook all patients. I asked what would happens if I hadn't shown up, and I was informed that I would have been billed a no-show fee for an appointment that I did not authorize. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. I found the practice to be unprofessional, poorly managed, and lacking in basic communication and respect for its patients.

Customer service is off the charts good. They also are great at offering you positive feedback about your tooth care and what you're doing right, so if you suffer from dental anxiety, they're especially great for that. No matter what issues you have going on, you will leave their office feeling a little better about your mouth. Seriously, I moved 30 minutes away from maple grove, and I still make the trip to see them, cuz it's worth the inconvenience. Katie and Mamie are the best!!

The clinic has two dentists, four hygienists, and a couple front desk staff. The office is located in an office park building in Maple Grove. The waiting room is so welcoming. It's tastefully decorated for kids. Cartoons on the TV, free Pac-Man arcade game, lots of books, and magazine for the adults. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The exam space is great, too. It's an open-air concept with benches and art for privacy rather than walls or exam rooms. My favorite part of our visit was the staff. As someone who despises trips to the dentist myself, I have put off my son's first visit for years. At 4.5, I worried that he would be scared and non-compliant. But our hygienist made him feel very comfortable. I appreciated that she showed him the chair and let him try each of the tools before using them. The cleaning was very gentle. She took breaks as often as he asked. After he picked out a prize and got a sticker for being cavity-free, we saw the dentist (Dr. Borodkin). She reviewed his chart and took the time to review his X-rays in detail. I was worried that she would scold me for waiting so long to bring him in. Not at all! She was informative and supportive, not judgmental. We left with a 'swag' bag - toothbrush, paste, a water bottle, a really nifty flosser, and a save the date for our next appointment. As an adult with dentist anxiety, I had MUCH delayed taking my kids and both had cavities... what I had dreaded (and expected). However, the way the staff and Dr. Venetia helped make them feel comfortable and calm (and informed about what's happening every step of the way) was nothing short of miraculous. No tears. No pain. No fear... for the kids or for me! :) I'm SO impressed with their approach, kindness and knowledge about kids and their teeth. Thank GOODNESS I found this clinic.

They made my kids feel like they had known them forever. They took their time with the examination and the cleaning and gave us lots of useful information. The office is clean and bright and there is a fun prize box at the end. My kids and I wish we didn't live 2,000 miles away so we could visit Dr. Adena on a regular basis.
