Excellent service, I was checking cod prices online today since is getting a little cold outside…read moreand don't want to run out of oil and I found Mid Island Fuel I gave them a call to make sure they service my area instead of making my request online and spoke to a very pleasant lady by the name of Susan, told me they could deliver tomorrow, I explained to her that my gauge is broken and the tank sounds very low if they could try to deliver today, she told me will wait for driver to call to find out and she will get back to me Few minutes later she called me to assured me that I will get my delivery today, driver had three stops ahead of me in a different town and to my surprise within an hour driver was knocking at my door, another pleasant person his name is Georgie, I asked him to please pump slow because I'm not sure how low my tank was and he told me he always pumps slow (that made my day :-) )few minutes later my tank only took 172 gallons. I'm very pleased with this company, first time I tried this company and I will be calling them back all winter, take this from a person that used to work for an oil company, I worked for one of the worse in high prices, service and customer service companies in Long Island for 15 years so I know what I'm talking about and people PLEASE REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR OIL DRIVER, is not easy to drive those trucks especially in snow and icy days and thanks to the dispatcher like Susan and the oil driver like Georgie we don't freeze to death in winter time and our homes are warm for our families.

They came out three times over the last two days to address issues with our really old heating system within hours of us calling. With a small child and elders in the house, heat during this time is essential. Robert understand that and is dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience possible. The turn around on most repairs and oil changes is usually pretty quick, even with some more intensive repairs, I've had my car back by the end of the day after dropping it off in the morning. They've diagnosed things and let me know the price before moving ahead with the larger repairs, which I really have appreciated. They have a few pumps for gas and a little convenience store inside that has the basics. It isn't anything too fancy, but it doesn't really need to be and does what it needs to well.

I got a yearly service plan with these guys and it started off great. They came out and filled my…read moretank monthly and I figured everything would be cool. I was wrong. WAY wrong. I work from home and am usually here at all times, so I lock my gates to my yard. One day in January when I was not home, they came out to fill my tank and could not because the gate was locked. They had called me one time to reschedule and I told them we could skip that month. Well, now its April and I am out of oil. I called to see why they hadn't come and they told me they cancelled my contract in January! I asked why and they said they could not get in and could not get ahold of me so they cancelled it! Of course, they kept my entire years worth of the contract charge and will not give a refund, nor did they contact me by phone, mail or email to let me know. I made sure they had the correct number for me, and because my number is a cell-phone, I was able to track all the incoming calls and I did not see 1 additional call from them other than the one they made in Jan. I told the VERY rude manager this and that they had no right to cancel my contract. At this time, he proceeded to call me a liar and tell me that I must have gotten my tank filled up by somebody else. I was irate. I tried to calm down and just get the problem fixed and fuel added but he told me I would be liable for any service charges related to the fuel being out. I told him to just come out and fix it, and that we would deal with the charges later, then he told me that we have no business together and I should find another company. then he hung up on me. I am going to take them to small claims court (it's much easier than you think) and I hope this review discourages others from doing business with this shady company.

Count on Fuel has been amazing since we moved out here. The customer service has been great, and their prices are very competitive as they have the lowest rate per gallon that I have seen. I don't understand the negative review left before, but that has not been our experience with this company at all!

When ever we called, either the owner ( the father) or the son would deliver to us immediately. They are a great company to deal with, unfortunately we converted over to propane and now we deal with those ignorant morons at Paraco Gas. I sure wish we could use those guys over at Micco.
