After purchasing a new vehicle, the dealership suggested Sun Solar for window tinting. I reached…read moreout on Yelp and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday morning, just a few days after my initial contact with them. They quoted me a very fair price for the entire car plus the windshield tint. Be prepared to leave your car there - I was able to walk to a friends house for the morning, but you may be stuck if you aren't close-by or have a friend drive you home. It took about 2-3 hours from start to finish and when I got my car back, everything was nice and dark. I didn't see any snags, bubbles, tears, or other issues. When I got home, I did a quick walk around to check everything, and I noticed a piece of my door hadn't been put back. When I called them, Jeff told me to come right back in and he'd fix it right away. It was pouring rain when I got there, but he still met me at my car, took over and backed it into the bay, fixed my issue immediately (it was a very simple mistake, that I don't blame anyone for). I was in and out in probably 5 minutes. Without a doubt, a great experience with a local company, and I won't hesitate to recommend him and his crew to anyone looking for tint work.

His quote beat another tinting place in town and he was able to do it immediately. I even decided to go ahead and get new tint put on because his price was $20 cheaper than the other spot. He did a great job and I was able to pick it up right after work. Nice guy too. Thanks Jeff and congrats on getting your own business started!

I agree that Parish and the team at Ocala Car Audio are top notch. I asked Parish if he would diagnose an issue that I had with the unit even though his team did not install it. He agreed to do so, and did a thorough job. He did not try to sell me a new head unit, but he did point out the pros and cons of the high-end Kenwood units during my visit. In the end, Parish found that it was my iPhone that was failing and not my Kenwood head unit. He saved me a lot of headaches and money with that discovery. I upgraded my iPhone the next day, and all is well. Thanks Parish! I will be back.

The owner tried to coerce a 5 star review from me, but my conscience just won't let me…read more Two weeks ago I replaced the face plate of my dash with a brand new never been used one. Plugged it in with the original wiring harness, and all the connected modules worked perfectly until I got the stereo installed. Last week, I took my truck down to replace the stereo. I knew the *audio wiring* was shot, which was why I had it installed at a car audio place, but the rest was just fine. When I got it back the next day, my AC module wasn't working, and the overhead display literally just fell out when I touched it. When I went back and tried to explain things, the owner got hostile with me by getting right up in my face, and basically accused me of lying and trying to get a free repair for something HE deemed was already malfunctioning because of age, despite my receipts to prove what I replaced was brand new. I really thought he was going to swing on me. Even the technician admitted to messing with the plug, and yet the owner swore they had nothing to do with any of it. When I checked things out, I found all new wiring, the original gone, and now I have to click the fan to full blast just to get the unit to turn on. I never authorized them to replace the module wiring because it was intact. It was strictly the audio wiring. Then the owner brought me inside to "work things out", but basically lectured me like I am some kid that doesn't know anything (despite my 30 years of experience of restoring vehicles), and denied any plausibility that it could have been a simple accident that went unnoticed. His mind locked on the overhead console, ignoring the bigger issue of my AC. All I had really wanted was for them to double check the plug and wiring they messed with, and to glue my overhead display back in place. He only agreed to the latter, leaving me to spend MORE money to get their mistake fixed. I don't know why, but he bought a new overhead housing, but told me I had to install it myself. He then demanded I go here to give a 5 star review about how they went above and beyond for me, and yet they refused to double check their work and instead pass the blame along without actually resolving anything.

I would have to have a body man remove the rust. Called my body man Rick and he advised me he could do it for me but not until after the 1st of the year Jan, 2026. Brought it to Rick the third week of January. had safelite come out to remove the old windshield so the work could be performed. At that time Donna, Ricks wife called me to say they wanted an additional one hundred and some odd dollars because they had to come out Twice which I had already told them they would need to do and that was what their installer had told me would need to be done anyway. So instead of wanting $266.02 they now wanted more money. She asked if I was ok with that and I said no way and had a discussion with safelite on the phone. The man I spoke with in a 3 way conversation with Donna said that was a mistake and I would not be charged and extra. Next Rick calls them to tell them the work has been completed the day after they removed the windshield and they claim they can't put a new windshield in my truck because they don't have a windshield to fit it? Why on earth do you remove a windshield if you don't have one to replace it with. By this time I've about had it with safelite and I tell them that I rescheduled the install for the following Monday Feb 9, 2026 and that they better show up and complete the work or I would cancel the job altogether and they would not see penny one out of it. Monday comes, Safelite tells me they will be there and I'm finally going to get my truck back. Guess again. They showed up alright but now they are claiming unless I pay them up front, they won't do the job. I told the installer I wanted to speak with his boss who has already blown me off two other times as far as calling me and I have finally had enough and told them don't plan on collecting a penny if you don't do that job TODAY. Boss never called me, just told his installer to leave and don't do the work. Got a call from Donna saying the kid packed up and left.
