This is a student based school - so understanding that I found Chelsea to be super helpful. What's…read morenice about this is that not only did she help me with reducing the frequency of my headaches she aLso was able to do acupuncture, hot cupping, soft tissue manipulation and more. It was a great place to get all different types of treatment under Dr. supervision. I have been going for 3 months and will continue to go. Note: you definitely need a few treatments to see things moving along, so I wouldn't say its a one stop shop for people just needing one thing done (like acupuncture) and having that be it. First session is a big intake and no treatment.

Absolutely NEVER attend this school, or trust one of their recent grads. I am a former student of 2…read morefull years of this program. On multiple occasions I have been directly lied to and gaslighted by the administration of this school. I was given false information on 3 separate occasions about my status in Canada as an international student. I based my decision to come to this school off this information which I was given by Boucher administrators themselves. I have come to find out I was lied to by the admin, and would have to leave Canada within 6 months of graduating if I stayed, they have offered me absolutely nothing as a solution, not even an apology for this mix up. Secondly, multiple students and I have paid out of pocket for the school to be tested for toxic black mold. We have a positive report of dangerously high levels of toxic black mold in the entire Boucher campus, this is undoubtedly affecting every students health, the staff members, and any patients of the clinic. The school has completely ignored these results and continued to put the students health at risk by not treating the problem. The students who put together this test have completely been gaslighted by the admin in regards to securing a safe and healthy building for the Boucher community. I also don't need to tell the students how deeply unprofessional the admin is when questioning the schools methods, or why exam dates change at the very last minute with no respect for the students schedules. I need not tell students as well of disappointment when we learned in our first term that we actually are not enrolled in a degree based program, but a diploma. Boucher deeply hides this information upon applying and during the enrollment process. Students are not aware of the implications of this school not having degree granting status. Our diploma status is the reason our education is so haphazardly thrown together and shitty. It is the reason why it is close to impossible to transfer credits elsewhere. When competing for a job with an ND with a degree our pathetic diploma will fail in comparison. Students are keenly unaware of all of these intricacies of the Boucher diploma when they begin this program. This is negligent misrepresenrstion and manipulation techniques used to get students to enroll in this for-profit scam. Lastly, I do not need to tell the students how horribly run this school is. We are taught zero critical thinking skills and simply taught to pass board exams, I have received better quality of education in public school in the American south. The result is students who have memorized exam material with zero skills in being a compassionate Doctor or critically thinking through a case. It is clear that this school hires incompetent recent grads, who were trained by incompetent former grads, to educated the new incompetent Boucher student docs. This school has been trapped in a cycle of being run by incompetent administrators and Naturopaths as professors with absolutely zero skills of how to run a classroom or efficiently teach a group of students. I will not even go into detail of a huge component of this program being run by a rude narcissistic MD who has zero respect for naturopathy, negative critical thinking abilities, and has changed this program to meet his MD standards while ignoring every principle of Naturopathic Medicine. There is only one word to sum up my experience at Boucher: Complete and utter incompetence. All of this said there have been a select few gems in this program that were lifechanging and I am deeply grateful for. Shout out to the TAM department, homeopathy, microbiology, and Anatomy. You were an example the rest of the school should follow, and did in fact inspire your students and provide a wonderful education. Unfortunately this was not significant enough for me to stay in this broken school, as every other area of my education at this school was complete and total garbage. I truly believe this school should be shut down, both to prevent future students going through this hell, and to protect the Canadian public from being treated by grossly mistrained Naturopathic Doctors. A big Fu*k you to the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic "Medicine" / CCNM Vancouver campus. You have failed both your students and your community. Your clinic is pathetic and poses a threat to society. You are a disgrace to Naturopathic Medicine in North America.

I went to their office by Surrey City Hall and asked for help. None of the people there had any interested of helping me learn the UI. The only thing they cared about was getting rid of me as fast as possible and making me feel like I was an inconvenience to their day. Enjoy my $1,000 SFU, I might as well have flushed it down the toilet and even after I made my concerns known to the instructor (who was amazing by the way ) nobody from SFU contacted me to try to make things right l. Shame on you SFU next time I'll Invest in a school who actually cares about the success of their students. 0/10 colloidal fail

I'm not exactly sure how you rate a school...so I'm sticking with the silly Berkeley-grad,…read moreCalifornian tourist perspective. First of all, damn. This school's architecture is simple, modern, and gorgeous. I felt like I was in Noah's Ark with all the intricate stacks of "wood" placed on the top ceiling. The shape and angle of the floor were pretty sexy and it felt more like a upscale office building rather than a school. Everything felt NEW and inviting. Before my SFU friend left for class, he said there was a mall around the corner from the entrance. WAIT WHAT? A MALL? Yes, indeed, there is a freakin' mall in this school. I thought it was quite hilarious that the first store you see on the left is a liquor store. I killed some time walking around the mall and using the wifi in their food court. I never went into a classroom so I can't really go over that but one thing that really gave this place an extra star for me was their SFU TouchMap located at the entrance. WOW this is totally nuts. The TouchMap is an epic interactive touch-screen map for the school, with individual classroom descriptions and locations on each level. Mad props to the design and programming team who made this! SFU Surrey is a pretty neat campus for who people who love modern design and cool beans interactive maps.
