I am the Camp Host at Pismo Beach North Campground. Because of Covid, I have been the only RV in the campground. Last month the entire Park flooded overnight 3 to 4 ft. of water I awoke to find the park supervisor at my door telling me to evacuate asap! I have no tow vehicle and checked Yelp for a tow. Central Coast Tow had the best recommendations and I immediately called them and explained my dire situation. The gal on the phone (who I later learned is Richard's wife) was soo professional and put me at ease. Richard arrived an hour later and took care of everything, got me out and saved the day! My uncle lives in Pismo and has a bit of a drinking problem. Early one morning around 8am he made a command decision that he wasn't drunk enough and must travel down to the local liquor store in search of Vodka. As he arrived his Maserati came to rest on a grassy island in the parking lot. When he stepped out of his vehicle he was hit by the fresh ocean breeze along with the parking lot asphalt. I can only imagine what he was thinking about while he was lifelessly laying on the ground waiting for the local police to arrive. Once the PD arrived they quickly and efficiently formed the opinion that my uncle was impaired and that he was unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. They placed him under arrest and he was whisked away to a place with free sandwiches. His car was impounded and cared by the above tow company. Where the fees expensive yes. Was this a good lesson maybe. So if your ever drunk driving in the Pismo area these folks can definitely impound your vehicle. read more

What can I say about this powerhouse dynamic duo?!! My car decided to stop working on me completely, no power, no nothing, on the 101 North to San Luis Obispo. It was dark:30, I'm alone, and I coast to the nearest off ramp. It was freezing, and so dark! Of course my insurance ran through their usual list of companies that are contracted with them...uugggh.. The geico rep advised me that she would have to go outside of the standard list as no one would answer her calls... she stated I might be liable for the payment depending on the company. As far as I was concerned I would have given anything to get out of that very desperate situation. This is where Central Coast Towing stepped in! My 1st contact was Richard's wife. She was very comforting and reassuring which is exactly what I needed because I was in a panic. She told me that her husband would be there within 20 minutes and sure enough he was!! Richard greeted me with the biggest smile and had me transfer to his truck so that I could warm up while he tied up my car. I have to agree with the other reviewer that this experience was like being with your family. Reassuring, safe, knowing that its gonna be OK, that's huge for me! 5 stars... more like 500 stars. I can't believe I am the 1st to leave a review. Richard and his family are awesome. I had a blowout on my trailer and they assisted us. When We removed the tire I realized i had a broken spring support.. long story short, Richard let me use his shop to do the repair myself. I gladly played for the use of his tools and shop which was far cheaper than paying someone to repair it. I highly recommend them if you need assistance. Last week while headed up the coast I took a little detour to get a picture of the dunes from what I thought was a nice overlook. Little did I know the land had just been tilled, and was pure soft dirt. Stuck up to my axel, I called the first place that showed up on my phone. They had no problem finding me, and got my truck out no problem.
