Greg from Central Coast Termite left our home about an hour ago after treating for fleas. I had such a great experience with the company and technician I wanted to write a review asap (will update to review long-term effectiveness after all these lil' monsters go bye-bye) We used Central Coast Termite for a flea problem that seemed to blow up overnight (last night, to be exact) and was noticed only when our indoor kitties went from normal behavior to extreme discomfort/itching over the course of a couple days. I researched suggestions for flea treatment/cleaning and realized this wasn't an easy job or anything we had time or patience to take on. I submitted a quote around 10am this morning and Central Coast Termite gave me a call immediately. Greg patiently walked me through the details of the service and quote details. Pricing was better than others I'd spoken to, AND he made it out to our house within 3 hours. I couldn't have been more relieved and we are able to re-enter our house in time for dinner tonight. I cannot thank Greg and Central Coast Termite for being so helpful during this stressful event. read more

I received prompt attention to my request for service for mice and rat Abatement. The Personal touch and care I received was awesome. Greg and Jacob give the best of their knowledge and expertise to solve our problem. Jacob has called to check up on the progress. The plan to come to my home to physically check the bate boxes every week is appreciated to get these critters under control. The cost is a competitive rate. read more

I am so glad we chose to go with Central Coast Termite. Greg was very patient and took the time to thoroughly walk me through the tenting process since it was our first time. I spoke with him a few times before deciding to tent instead of spot treat the infected areas. The team is not pushy but instead very informative and helpful. Amanda was also great in coordinating all the work. Also, our inspector, Alfredo, was very knowledgeable and worked with us on what we wanted to completely repair what could be spot fix. The team understood our budget and worked within it and they were all very personable. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Alfredo C. Came to my house to check my fence. He showed up as scheduled and identified 2 posts that were a problem. He took the time to explain that it wasn't a subterranean problem that he would treat and that I could simply replace the posts with treated wood for less without risk. A kind, HONEST, communicator that didn't try to upsell me. How rare to find these days! He has won me over as a future customer and I hope this post tips a reader's decision in their favor. As a local business owner myself I really appreciate how Central Coast Termite does business in our community. Thank you Alfredo and CCT! read more

Good service from contact to completion. Also, good communication with myself and my realtor.

My daughter had a flea problem in her apartment. After reading the great reviews, I called and Greg called me back promptly. He was very reassuring and was so knowledgeable, I felt comfortable enough for my daughter and her roommate living a few hours away, to meet with him. He immediately made time for them and a day later, cleaned the carpets. Greg said he would do it again for free if needed, but the fleas were gone the very first time. The girls said how nice he was and he explained everything to them. Greg checked in afterwards to make sure all was still good. I highly recommend Greg and Central Coast Termites to everyone looking for quick and immediate service. His price was very reasonable. 5 stars! read more

The termite inspection I had was only partially done because the inspector, Alfredo, did not ask me to move things near the roof access prior & during the inspection but I was not made aware of this until I paid for and received the full report. Simply asking if the boxes could be moved would have been reasonable & professional communication. read more

I wrote a review about this company back on 4/30. For some reason it posted as Ryan W. from San Francisco??? I have a metal piece on the outside of my home, it is really cool. Well I noticed that it now has several scratches on it from this pest company. They were not there before and right above they did repairs. The workers also left their tarp behind the bush. This is a one of a kind piece that cannot be replaced, and although it is not that noticeable from the sidewalk, I know it is there. I am truly shocked by this companies disregard for other people's property. I usually do not give bad reviews, but this one just screamed at me. Please see attached photo. Sign me Berni H. read more

This company is a scam operation. They sent two "carpenters" to do some dry rot repair they called termite damage, spent maybe 8 hours on the job rolled in at 9 and put at 2, and charged 8000!!! I would never use this company for anything! read more

I had an ant infestation at our vacation rental in Grover Beach. I called a few companies and didnt get any call backs. Even one star is too many for this business and its owner Greg. I am a medical professional in a medical building in Santa Maria. Our association unfortunately hired central coast termite to tent our building. What a mistake and nightmare for four full days. Greg the owner totally lacks communication skills or he simply doesn't care and is after a quick buck. The only responsibility this guy has is to take your business and give it to a third party fumigator. He couldn't even do that. He had no clue what is going on during the four days that building was tented. Only time we saw him was when he came in about ten days before tenting giving everyone in the building wrong instructions as to how to prepare for the fumigation weekend and most importantly for HIM to have all tenents sign contracts that releases him of full liability. Well everyone had to throw away lots of food and medical supplies because of this guys irresponsible behavior and lack of knowledge. First he wanted me to surrender all the keys to the unit after signing a contract that relives him of all responsibility. Being a medical office I have very expensive equipment that I can't move. Also there is a thing called HIPPA laws which has to do with keeping patient information private and secure. After voicing my concern regarding the keys the only way he would accommodate was to have me sign a paper that I will be ready 24/7 to be at the office in case of emergency within 15 minutes or he will charge me $120 if I am late. I assured him I will comply and that I am a responsible person. I asked him to give me heads up ahead of time so I can be there to let the fumagotrs in. I understand a last minute call in case of emergency. He assured me they will give me "courtesy call" well ahead of time. Well morning of fumagation came and there was no sign of Greg or his third party fumigator. I never had a phone call. So I called him at 8:30am Friday morning to see what was going on. From sound of his voice it appeared he was still in bed. He didn't remember me or the job he contracted for. His response was I will call you back. So I left and went home. Finally the fumigation crew shows up in the afternoon. No one still bothered to call to let me know they are there and tenting the building. I finally get a call from the fumigator that I need to be there in 15 minutes. So I rushed over there to find out all the instructIons Greg personally had given all the tenants were wrong. So last minute I had to do as much as I can to cut my losses short by moving stuff out of the unit. Non of the other unit owners were there and the fumigators wanted me to make decisions for other tenants. Of course I refused to take responsibility for other units. At this time I had a call from Gregs secretary that they need contact information for all other tenants. What kind of business man takes over three other medical offices (four including mine) without having contact information for them. He was so worried about having keys in case of emergency and yet he had no contact information for anyone. I provided phone numbers to other tenents. Still there is no sign of the owner Greg. His irresponsible actions had me on the edge of my seat all weekend. Monday, when tent was to come down I had asked the fumigator (on Friday) to call me when they are on their way so I can be there to lock up my unit and take possession. Well, no one bothered to call again until they were done. Suddenly I get a call from the fumigator that they are done and I better get there ASAP because they were leaving and my unit is unlocked. I had to rush down there immediately which I did only to find everyone gone and my unit left unattended and unlocked. As I walked in I found massive residue of the poison and gas they used all over the stairwell. Also damage to the paint by staining from the poison and gas all over my recessed skylights walls. Finally couple of hours later Greg the owner shows up with a smiley face. I brought the damage to his attention. First he used every excuse in the book to blame it on me and everyone else but himself. He also blamed the fumigator for lack of communication. Now remember my person of contact is Greg not the fumigators. He felt being attentive and responsible towards his clients is not his job even though his name is on the contract. He said he will clean up the ceiling paint and drywall. I agreed. But that didn't resolve the issue. Paint has been permenantly damaged with marks. There are also areas where paint is bubbling. At this point he stated that it is my fault that damage happened and he will no do anything about it and he walked out. He said "I am even doing you a favor cleaning this up". If you are looking for an UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING, IRRESPONSIBLE company and person to take your money and damage your property and not stand behind their actions you have found your dream company. If you value your property and sanity stay away from this guy and his company. read more

Greg is a gem! He is professional, friendly, and communicative. He always makes a point to call before he comes out, as a courtesy, so my dog and I are not startled by footsteps behind my apartment. I have been using Central Coast Termite's for the past few years as this is the company that 1) never tries to sell you hundreds of dollars of recurring service by scaring the heck out of you. 2) they do what needs to be done without much fuss or trouble 3) they stay that way for years and years! There are other companies in the area that have gone down in quality over the years. Try them. You will see that they are honest, hard working and trustworthy. read more

Greg and team rebuilt our 2nd story deck 2 1/2 years ago and it's still standing strong. They completed the deck faster than promised, kept a clean job site and sent qualified people to do the job. We've built 2 homes and I can only say I wish every project went this smooth. Our deck had rot from a few pin holes in the deck covering and because our contractor didn't bother to flash around the deck posts/railings. CCT came in fixed it all to code and left us something that was better than new. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again on the next job. Thanks for the great work CCT! read more
