We purchased a condo a year ago and it was in need of some TLC. We were able to replace carpet in…read moremost of the rooms as well as floors in some of the bathrooms, but the tile in the entry, dining room, kitchen and hallways throughout the ground floor could only be given a quick scrubbing before my daughter and her roommates moved in for the school year. So a year later, the number one request was to clean the floors, which to be honest, look like they haven't had a thorough cleaning since the condo was built in the 80s. I put in a request on Yelp! and Glen was one of the first people to respond. We set up for him to come out, inspect and give a quote. He provided a reasonable quote and we scheduled a time. But then life happened and I had to postpone the work. Glen was totally understanding. He gave us our time and even reached out again about the time that I said we would be able to revisit the job. We scheduled the work and he showed up right on time and went to work. In addition to the floors we asked him to clean the carpets. Even though most were installed just last year, there was some signs of heavy wear and stains on a few of the surfaces. Overall, Glen did a great job. The carpets were cleaned and the stains removed. The floors which had been dirty and sticky in some places and the grout practically black were brought back a long way. We have some of the same tile lining the fireplace on the wall and after Glen was finished, the floor resembles the tile on the wall. Best of all, you can now walk on the floors barefoot without sticking to the ground. One last point, in one area of the floor, it looked like some black marks had been left on the ground. After consultation with Glen and some back and forth sharing pictures, we determined that the the black marks were actually under the years of build up and grime and had revealed themselves after all of that had been stripped off. Glen even offered to come out and try to see if he can further clean those marks, definitely above and beyond. If you need someone who knows their stuff and as a bonus, is reasonably priced and friendly, look no further than Karpet Klean and Glen.

Because of this, our wood grain laminate flooring in the hallway was ruined. Even with my husband and I rushing in to dry it, using fans, our own shop vacs etc. He told my husband he was an honest man and didn't want bad reviews so he would make it right. Once our carpets dried, they looked even worse! There was also who knows what splattered all over the walls in the hallway and laundry room that I'm certain wasn't there before he came. Horrible! And, the previous owners dog's hair was still all over the carpets. After figuring out what it would cost to replace that damaged floor, my husband attempted to contact Eric. After a bunch of excuses, and saying we would still need to pay for his service, he just ignored us. We're not getting anything from the POS except dirtier carpets and the joy of replacing flooring. I really wish we would've viewed yelp before booking Eric, as the past year+ of reviews all day the same thing. Final word.... wait for a legit carpet cleaner to be available or DIY.
