I went there recently and they have reduced all their xmas gifts so its possibly wise to start a small part of your shopping now. They have a small kitchenware department and stationary, garden and kids. The prices can be a bit high but they are dedicated to bringing top quality meat and produce as well as "foodie" products to English consumers. The Waitrose Cafe is standard though with a upscale twist to the available tea time treats and hot dishes. On my last visit lamb moussaka and rogan josh were the choices. Good cappuccino served with a gold foiled chocolate on the side. Nice touch!

The store is situated just out of town so the access is easy. The layout is really good and they have some great homeware pieces just as you walk in. They are part of the John Lewis chain so the items are not cheap but are really nice, and sometimes it is nice just to browse around this part of the store which sells furniture, electrical items, pictures and gift ideas as well as home furnishings anc children's clothes and toys. The food section is really well laid out too and although the prices seem a bit higher than places such as Morrisons and Tescos, you can often get things that you can't find in other supermarkets, so if you are looking for something special then I find this is a great place to visit. I do find the queues are higher in here than in other supermarkets, but the stafff are always really nice and cheerful. It looks a lot more higher class than other supermarkets but I do find that the price reflects this. It is a nice place but I don't think I could afford to do my weekly shopping here very often.

Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

They seem to have a lot more variety and seems to be better stocked much more like a larger supermarket. It doesn't carry the clothing range, but otherwise it is very good. It is very handy to be able to pop in if you are in town.

However as this place is so huge you'll probably still find what you are looking for. Since I've lived in Oxford I've come here about a dozen or so times. We tend to try and stick to mid evening as the crowds die down a bit and they are not quite into their horrible restocking mode. Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Staff are friendly and helpful, and offers on food are good value.

It's not a huge store, but helpfully it's open 24 hours a day, although you do have to fight your way round the shelf stackers at night. Generally it's pretty well stocked, apart from the odd days around the major holidays where you can find the shelves dreadfully empty. There's a pharmacy, which I've never used, a Tesco Direct counter which works just as it should. The photo shop is always having their machine break down but when it's running the service is actually very good. A word of warning, there's a café tucked away upstairs at the far right of the shop, very easy to miss. I would definitely give it a miss, the breakfast is truly disgusting, and the coffee machine seems to be out of order whenever I go there. It's clean and tidy though.
