Central Car Wash has been hit or miss for me. I signed up for the unlimited membership in the middle of winter, and it ended up being pretty frustrating because there were many days it was closed. At one point it felt like almost two weeks straight where I kept going and it was not open, which kind of defeats the purpose of paying for unlimited service. That part really took away from the experience. When it is open though, the service is actually really good. The car comes out clean, well scrubbed, and they do a nice job depending on the package you choose. All the packages include a wash and hand drying at the end, which I appreciate. Pricing is just okay, nothing that really stands out either way. I have pretty mixed feelings about it because the quality is there, but the inconsistency makes it hard to rely on. I will probably try some other spots around the city before deciding if I want to come back. read more

I paid for The Works, which is $27.99 before tax. I needed an external car wash and interior cleaning. I asked the staff, who are really nice, what level to go for if I wanted interior and they explain they all include cleaning inside the car. I asked if I needed to box and box out of the way for them to clean the back seats and they said they would move it and clean around it. Was a quick service, maybe like 10 minutes. The exterior looked great!! But the inside didn't look wiped down very well, the box didn't get moved and my dogs dirty paws could still be seen. I think for $27 it's an average wash. But next time I would opt up and asked for a better cleaning inside. Overall good experience and will go back. read more

I'm not sure why I let Google make me think this would be an ok place to go get a car wash. It's awful! Paid the full package. The console area was full of crumbs even though the package I bought had "vacuum passenger areas" as a thing. I told them and the manager said they don't do details???? I didn't ask for a detail! Just...please vacuum visible crumbs! My window was also CRAZY dirty. It's hard to grab a pic, but you'll hopefully see what I mean. Snapped this pic literally driving out of the parking lot. This used to be my go-to for car washes. But the quality during my last couple of visits has been subpar. Pros: - The person working at the register is so sweet! - Outdoor car washes are great. Cons: - Prices could be more competitive. It would be nice if one of the packages included a trunk vacuum or mat cleaning - those are always additional. - Attention to detail on the interior is lacking. On a recent trip, I requested a trunk vacuum, but it was not done. My dash was also still pretty dusty. read more

Used to be a great place to get my cars washed, but the quality isn't what it used to be. My last 2 visits were very disappointing.

Got the same I could have gotten in any other 10-15 dlls express car wash, however I paid 30 dlls here. The staff was kind in the beginning, but they didn't like that I needed to clean my own car due to the lack of details and asked me to move my car. They told me they only do what the menu says and they don't focus on small details in any of their customers. Not coming back. read more

Will have to go a few more times to formulate a final rating, but for now I'm happy. Got "the outside only" package for $10 ($10.80 with tax) which is the cheapest/simplest. They just wash and hand dry the vehicle and the actual service takes less than 10mins. My car, windows, side mirrors, and interior frame were all shining nicely. I've never been to a car wash like this so for other first timers, you pull into entrance and while in queue an employee comes to ask what service you want. They check it off on a ticket, write your plate # on it, and write a code for your service on your window. When you pull into the facility exit the car, leave keys in, make sure windows are up, radio is off, take valuables and from there an employee takes it. They start the service and you go inside to pay the cashier and wait for your car. In that area is a small assortment of auto merchandise you can purchase and windows where you can see the cars being washed. The car eventually makes it's way to the area where you're waiting, they quickly and thoroughly dry it off and turn it over to you. Simple! I will say inspect your car before and after just to ensure nothing happened while it was out of your possession. The only opportunities are: 1) they could use a bigger/higher CAR WASH sign so folks dont drive right past it 2) they could use a menu board closer to the entrance so you can see options and decide before their person comes to take your order 3)if busy the entrance can get backed up nearly into the street as was my case (I just circled the block waited 5mins and returned). Purchased #1 Supreme Wash (approx. $36) which should have included (among other things) Febreze air freshener and Tire Shine (but even at $36, cleaning of the floor mats is not included, that costs $1.99 per mat). My experience: When they initially indicated my vehicle was completed, only 2 of the 4 tires had received the Tire Shine. So, if I had not noticed, they would have sent me on my way without doing all 4 tires. Later, I realized that the air freshener had not been applied and on the back seat, there were spots on the leather upholstery. These spots came from their spray bottles. This vehicle is a 2018 Toyota that has only 16,000 miles and it is like new inside and out. I was able to remove the spots, but it just shows a lack of quality work. Since they failed to do 2 obvious items on their list, it makes me wonder what other "services" like underbody wash that you trust are being done but have no way of determining if they ARE being done, might also be omitted. Another customer whose vehicle was completed just ahead of mine pointed out many errors/deficiencies regarding his vehicle. At the time, I thought he was being too fussy, but later realized that he was right to complain. Apparently, this place just does shoddy work. I won't be going back. read more

New to the area and found this car wash. I paid for the supreme car wash which was 33.99. When I drove away I noticed the car was done terribly. Still had leaves on the floor that were not vacuumed, the doors were not wiped down, and the center console was a sticky mess. I had to pull over to finish cleaning the car myself just to realize there were black smudges still left on the exterior. There were 5 guys cleaning my car. I totally thought they would get it done quick and right....nope. Save your money and go get your car cleaned somewhere else. read more

What can one say about a car wash? The most I can ask for is to have my car returned clean and in a timely fashion. Central Car Wash does that and then some. I never thought I would be one to be excited about getting my car wash, but my experiences here have led me to vocalize it here on Yelp and give them the credit they deserve. I get the level wash that cleans inside and outside while offering an air freshener. From the time I dropped my car off to the time I got it back was no more than 10-12 minutes with multiple cars ahead of me. In such a short time, my car was made to feel like new. Every details from the console, floor mats to inside and out of each window were sparkling clean. On top of that, every person working was extremely friendly and helpful, unlike most car washes where everyone looks like they are on suicide watch. read more

Had an appointment to clean the interior of the my car this morning. I've been traveling with my dog and it was dirty but NOT that bad, the cleaning was more about getting rid of the dog odor. The employee just opened the door, barely glanced inside, and said it was too dirty and he couldn't clean it. I followed him inside to find out why and to talk to the manager. The manager had just come in, and that's all he would say... "I just got here", "I just got here". Apparently he can't work until he's been there for at least 20 mins. This was SO DISAPPOINTING. A manager who won't talk to me, another employee who said "the owners" won't let them do dirty interiors... Who brings a clean car to have it cleaned???? Save yourself a trip and don't go here for an interior cleaning. Hopefully their exterior cleaning service is better but I'll never risk it or WASTE MY TIME there. read more

My car looks great and the service was outstanding. I had $10 in my center council I forgot to put in my purse. When I got back in my car it was still there. I wasn't trying to tempt these people, I just forgot I left it there. How honest these people are because they could have easily taken it. This place is a hit or miss. I didn't have a problem until today. There was a total of 10 cars in line. I chose the $32 wash, thinking they were going to do a good job like last time. They didn't spray or clean the wheels. No air freshener was offered, I had to ask for one. I think you're better off getting the cheapest wash or going elsewhere. The only appealing thing about this place is that they offer a 24 hour weather guarantee. They will give you a free exterior wash if you come back with your receipt after it rains. The service was very quick (a little too quick). I was greeted with a "Do you know what you want? Leave your keys." I paid ~$17 for their #2 package, which is a step above their basic package. My car wash expectations are simple. I just want a clean car. For $17, Central Car Wash failed to meet my expectations. The interior/dash was dusted well with the mats vacuumed. However, the tires were still very visibly dirty. I had 3 guys wipe down the car, and the worst part was that they failed to notice the visible bug guts all over the windshield, hood, and side mirror housing. I just couldn't help myself. Nearly 50 degrees, sunshine and breezy. And then I see a newly washed car turn onto Central Ave., just out of the car wash. I HAD to! After making another brief stop, I went back to enter. I hadn't washed my car since, what... October? November? That baby was d.i.r.t.y. "Sign me up for the full service wash", I said, and declined the whatever extra thing I was offered. Went and paid the $12.83 and then watched as my car rolled ahead thru the super blow dryer, and then to get wiped down by several people. She looked brand-spanking new! Sure do wish, however, that car washes, in general, would pay more attention to cleaning & wiping down the inside - the console area, the back windows, and vacuuming better on the floor. read more

Decent service.. Got car cleaned.. They do a good job of cleaning the mats. I live in Minneapolis and it gets very dirty here due to snow and salt. They vacuumed from inside. Definitely better than the automatic car washes. One plus point is they hand dry the car with towels. read more

Bought the most expensive service, the ultimate wash, for 20 something. Outside wash was not much better than a drive through and not as good as I do myself. In particular, the tire rims were noticeably not cleaned. As for the inside, the mats were cleaned well but overall vacuuming was only acceptable, not well vacuumed in crevices. Plastic areas behind seats and on inside of doors not wiped down. Now this was only 20 bucks and about 10 minutes (with 3 guys working on it) so I am not expecting a professional detailing job (which can cost nearly 100 and requires leaving your car for hours or the day), but it was a bit too quick for $20. I may go back here since it is convenient and they do an okay job, but will probably try a few other places in the area first to compare. read more

I have been a long time customer to Central Car Wash and will not be returning. I just paid $34.56 on the Supreme Wash and it did not come out clean. The inside was not vacuumed thoroughly and the seats were not even wiped down. The tires were not cleaned thoroughly. I spent a good hour re-cleaning it myself. My suggestion would be to get the exterior washed at the Holiday down the street and wash the interior yourself. Save yourself about $22. read more

A fair effort on a busy day. Exterior wash on a black car left quite a few spots that were not wiped off during the hand dry. That goes with a black car, and I suspect lighter cars would fair much better. The dash and much of the interior had clearly not had a cloth touch it. If I would have said something, they very likely would have addressed it, but there was an air of "move 'em in and move 'em out" on this busy day. With a FIAT 500, I can run a cloth over the interior at home quickly enough. Windows were done well. Floor mats were done well. The staff was uniformly friendly, and were clearly working hard and fast. I usually wash my car myself at home, and think it is unreasonable to expect a similar quality job at a commercial car wash. I can take more time with superior products. Price for the next to top of the line wash I selected was $25. Fair value I believe. I would suggest considering selecting the less costly exterior only wash, or go on non-peak times when the staff has the time to do the interior clean better, as well as a bit better exterior finishto the wash. read more

I have used this car wash for several years until October 2019. I just got a brand new car and took it here for a wash and they removed my passenger side front floor mat to vacuum and didn't put it back inside. I noticed it was missing 5 minutes after I left. I called and spoke with the person at the desk and she said she would ask the guys in the first bay and call me right back. I didn't get a call back, so I called them the next day and she said they didn't have it and told me that they didn't even touch my floor mats...which they did (you can watch them the whole time). It's just unfortunate that they misplaced it, couldn't find it, didn't resolve the issue, and lost a customer (who always recommended this car wash to friends) I understand that things happen, but they did nothing to help the situation besides deny deny deny. read more

Warning to potential customers: watch out for your personal belongings. I went here for the first time today, and I didn't realize that I would be handing over my car to them to wash while I waited inside. That's all well and good, I grabbed my purse/phone/all the big stuff, but when I picked up my car on the other end, all of the change was missing from my central console. I combed through the rest of the car - I hope nothin else disappeared that I neglected to remove. Very unsettling. I called and left a message. I was promised a call back from the manager, but have yet to hear from anyone. I understand that it was just change, but I hope they take that kind of behavior from their employees seriously. I usually get my car washed in gas stations so I don't have huge expectations. Since my car was so dirty and I just drove by Central Car Wash yesterday, I decided to try them. I paid $13+ for basic wash. OMG! They cleaned my car from inside out. Like a previous reviewer said, they vacuumed and cleaned the floor mats, shined the tires, wiped down dashboard and windows, emptied my trash can and put a new plastic bag in. They worked very quickly and efficiently. And everyone there was really friendly. I think I will get their coupon book when I go back. read more

I came here on a busy day and there was a long line. The line moved pretty fast though. It's the kind of place where you jump out of your car and they vacuum it and drive it through the wash for you. The wash was more thorough than most. It got off an entire winter's worth of grim without and residue. Perhaps the hand drying is what made the difference. They also wiped down the dash and interior. It's a more expensive wash than most but you are getting a better wash. They also have a lot of 50% off coupons in the Entertainment books if you have those.
