1) Opens at 7am weekday and 6:30 on Saturday. 2) no nonsense barber ship. Mark is great, he'll ask what and how you want your cut done. Have a photo, he's quick and meticulous. We just moved to Kissimmee from California a few weeks ago. I was a little scared whether or not I would be able to find a barber for my son and I. I went to Yelp to see reviews and guess what...the very first barber shop I found was called Central Barber Shop. They had great reviews so I thought why not. First the good news...they are open on Mondays. Some barbershops close Sunday and Monday to give 2 days off in a row. This place only closes on Sunday and are open a half day on Saturday. The other good news is the price. They only charge $14 for a haircut...compared to California that is an amazing value. The atmosphere is really fun and the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. They are the third owners in the last 60 years. The gentleman that cut my hair is a second to third generation barber. We have found our next hometown barber. read more

I went in and asked for specifically a shape up for my beard. They asked do you want any length taken off and I said no. I did not ask for a trim up. I wanted to keep my beard the length it was and just get it shaped. They went and proceeded to then trim the whole beard. Not only that but they did not take a straight razor to it to line any of the beard. Literally 6 minutes in and out and no attention to detail. Very disappointed with the service I got. The guys are very nice family run, but if you want something that's more technical this is not the place to go. read more

This was my first time visiting Mark at his conveniently located Barber Shop. I walked in without an appointment on a Monday. I was shocked there was no wait, but there were 3 men that came in as I was finishing. So I guess I timed it perfectly. Mark welcomed me with a big smile, asked me for my first name and introduced me to his colleague. I showed him a picture of the cut I wanted and Mark said "No Problem" and cut it the exact way I wanted. We even discussed future possibilities with my hair. Super friendly and we had a nice conversation while he worked his "magic". The shop had a great vintage vibe and he said he had been there over 20 years. The price was much lower than I expected and I will definitely return when I am in the area. I just re-located to Florida and haven't found a permanent place to call home. This is my favorite barber shop in town. I don't go anywhere else but here when I'm in need of a haircut or a trim. The barbershop has been a staple to downtown Kissimmee since the 1920's and it still has the same look, feel and even some decorations from the time. It's like your taking a trip back in time. The men that run the shop are very friendly and super sweet and they welcome you in with open arms every time. Expect your haircut to be more than just that, as you'll end up having a great conversation about the town, recent events, your life, their life and everything under the sun. 5 stars for a great little downtown barbershop! I was on my way to a hearing at the Osceola County Courthouse the other day and was looking to grab a haircut beforehand. Yelp showed me Central Barber Shop, which is located on Broadway in Historic Downtown Kissimmee next to the Old Blossom Hotel. The reviews intrigued me, so I decided to give them a try. I went inside and a found a couple gentleman in a small little shop that looked like it was out of the 1950's (in a good way). They instantly greeted me and brought me over to cut my hair. The gentleman who cut my hair was very courteous and cut my hair while engaging in just the right amount of small talk. After providing me an excellent haircut (he even shaved the back of my neck with a blade), he finished telling me his story about the hotel next store and told me that my haircut was only $12. When I pulled my card out, he told me that his card machine was down and I was free to just stop by another time and pay him via the honor system. Talk about a refreshing approach to customer service! Fortunately, I had a $20 bill, so I gave it to him and thanked him for the wonderful haircut and pleasant time as I headed out to my hearing. Overall, Central Barber Shop is a fantastic Kissimmee barber shop. The old time look, pleasant barbers, great prices and incredible customer service make this a barbershop worth checking out. read more

Love, love, love Galen and Mark. I take my boys every so often to have their hair cut by the masters in a shop with a very classic feel. They are super sweet and even though I don't take my boys all the time, they always greet us by name. It just makes us feel so special. Usually I buzz my own hair (as I don't have much) -- but needed to look nice for a professional picture. Came in this morning, few people waiting, no big deal. Was cool that is was all on a men's honor system, no actual waiting list. Just keep in mind who was in before you. Explained what I needed, got a nice haircut, facial hair was neatly trimmed, eyebrows cleanup up and a straight blade on the neck -- Awesome! And the price -- way lower than expected. All I needed was a little whiskey or scotch and this would have reminded me of the barber shops of days old. Definitely recommend and will be back! read more

While the people here are very friendly and the haircuts are cheap, it was not a good one. They took off way more hair from the front then I wanted and completely messed up my line. Mark my barber showed a real interest in who you were and how you were. What sold me is this place is a old fashioned barbershop that still uses a razor to clean your neck with warm shaving cream.
