I would always buy food here when my dad goes to get gas for our car. They greet you with a warm welcome that makes you feel really comfortable, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The place is very clean but they have wet floor signs a lot since they really clean the place frequently. Would recommend for gas, and for food.

I don't care what anyone says. It remains a treat to have fuel service, whether or not I have to pay more at the pump. I'd rather not stand out in -20 degree weather fueling my own car. It's usually cheaper than Cendex, Tsui TIna and any other gas chain you may use. You'll need a credit card or a debit card, as it's virtually entirely automated (I've like seen the gas attendant only twice ever!) and runs 24/7 as a result. It's admittedly in a dark, and a bit scary neighbourhood. If you're a gal, I really would keep an eye out juuuust in case if you ever decide to fill up here after sundown, as this area is virtually deserted in the night with few if any pedestrians combined with a high population of homeless and transients.

However, there are a few basic points that make me happy that this particular Victoria Esso exists: 1. Location, location, location! I live in suburbia in the SE, so it is very handy to have a gas station at close and easy access on the way home. 2. It has a drive through car wash. 3. It has 3 access/exit points, so the parking lot is rarely a gong show with people trying to come and go. 4. It has a convenience store, which at times comes in handy. All and all, few complaints here with the location and services. My only concern is that there are, at times, homeless people that cause a minor disturbance. Not often, but it has happened on more than one occassion. In my opinion, this happens pretty much anywhere downtown, but it is a consideration with this location over the burbs. No fault of the business, but its definately a part of doing any business in downtown locations.

I went to grab the van without her, when I said I didn't have the card, he accused me of being rude for no reason, I was definitely taken back. He told me I'm not renting a van without the card, and I told him I would come back with my mom. He then asked if she would behave in the store, I asked him what the hell did you just say? Then he said I was rude and I couldn't rent a van at all. I'll admit, once this transpired I proceeded to tell him to F himself and started walking out. He ran out from behind the counter and grabbed what I think was a window brush as a weapon. We exchanged a few more words and I left. If you read other reviews online, his responses are great, accusing reviewers of working for the competition and doing spam reviews. No apologies, points out reviewers spelling mistakes, what a class act.

Now that's a surprise, when the cost of deluxe car wash was $94.49 with the GST, the driver's floor was not clean - justifying that they don't clean the "pedals", which has nothing to do with the floor, AND the cost to replace the windshield is to be determined, but I can guess. What a run-down service, with no customer satisfaction to speak of; not only I will never be going there again, but I highly recommend you do so too, especially if you care for your windshield. HA, HA, HA, they said certainly they didn't cause the cracking of my windshield because there was no other similar claim that day! Imagine what an excuse, as if they take responsibility ONLY if they have many claims of cracked windshield on a particular day. Plus, they don't offer discounts for such mishaps, they pocket full cost of the car wash, almost $100 bucks, and leave the rest on the "customer satisfaction survey" which does not exist for a good reason.
