However, this morning I went there, arriving at 2:05 AM to pick up a couple of things before I went home to bed. I live very close by, so it was a convenient stop. What was decidedly inconvenient, however, was the fact that the gentleman that was "Working" was nowhere to be found. I knocked on the glass with my cell phone, after waiting for five minutes. Over the next 10 minutes I proceeded to kick and wrap on the windows, though not hard enough to cause any damage. The sound would have been quite loud inside the building. After 15 minutes had passed, the worker came out and apologized because he said he was in the cooler. Firstly, my headlights were shining right into the cooler and he was not in there. Secondly, he would have heard me and seen me had he been in the cooler. So, I can only conclude that he was taking a nap. I get it. I need sleep too. The difference is, that I sleep on my own time. While I was there waiting, another young lady came by and expressed that this has happened to her before. She left without waiting for the store to open. If you are the proprietor of this location, I would suggest that it would be in your best interest to seek a different employee he does not feel entitled to sleep during his shift.

I was splitting the purchase between 2 bank cards, so the first 100$ was approved no prob, however the remainder was declined because of I had reached my daily spending limit in that card. I asked if he would suspend the transaction while I called my bank. He agreed and gave me two receipts to show that it was cancelled and explained that we would start over again. So when I went back In yet again the second transaction was declined, now I was confused because I had just had my spending limit increased!!?? So I called my bank while standing at the counter and the agent & I were trying to figure out what the problem was. After a few minutes I asked if he would put the second half through again, because the agent and I thought we figured it out and it would go through. BUT IT WAS NOT ALLOWED!!!!! The shell station cashier out of the blue had decided the for "security reasons" I could no longer make my purchase with two cards!!!! He proceeded to give me two receipts that showed there were no charges on any transactions. This all happened while I was on the phone with the bank aswell!! So I walked out still on the phone and left with no pre paid visa, thinking that the guy was an asshole!! Well I got home and unpacked, started to make dinner and my husband came out from the office and said there are two 100$ purchases the shell we just came from. That's when I really started to see red!!!! So not only is the guy an asshole but he also a thief!!! UNREAL!!! My brother was in charge of store training at the corporate level in Husky and I gotta say that this is not considered acceptable treatment of a customer!!!! I will never give them my business again! There is now an investigation of the event and we are still out 200$ for a pre paid visa we didn't even get!!!! BRUTAL!!!!!

Lots of Semi's and watch for the 2-way traffic on the access road!

The thing we like about this place is that it has a ton of pumps and it has never been so busy that we had to wait to fill or buy items in the store. They also have nice clean washrooms. The last time I was there I noticed they had these iPad type devices mounted to the wall. You can quickly rate your bathroom cleanliness experience or store experience with the selection of the appropriate emoji. Gas prices are usually good here. You aren't getting gouged for a highway gas stop either.

Out of concern, I politely asked if there was any way I could help or provide the dog with some food. I understand there may be rules and policies regarding animals, and I respect that. What upset me was how dismissive and uncaring my concerns were treated. Rather than showing any empathy for an animal that appeared to be in distress, the staff made me feel as though my concern was an inconvenience. As someone who cares deeply about animal welfare, the experience was upsetting enough that I left in tears. Because of how this situation was handled, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Today, I was bringing 3 large slurpees to my poor sister-in-law and her boys. I had them in one of those cardboard trays, but because of the weight, it was a bit wobbly. Ramon to my rescue!! He is always so patient & kind to each of his customers - as if no one else exists on this planet but you. Today was no different. He saw me struggling and kindly packaged each slurpee in a plastic bag he tied at the top to insure the lid wouldn't pop off and gave me a more secure carrier to hold them in. I cannot thank this man enough. The service here is awesome - you're lucky if this is your 7-eleven!

He brings me two bags of chips that are not what I ask for and I tell him so politely. When we finally clarify what I'm asking for he says the store does not stock them and this is the closest to what I want (I could see the chips I was asking for through the window). I'm overstimulated at this point so I ask him for Doritos instead. He walks over to the cheetos which are right next to the Doritos (honest case of miscommunication) and he points to a bag, I shake my head. he points to a different bag of cheetos and I shake my head again. we do this a few more times till I decide to point at the bag I want (I try not to point like that, I know it's rude but I was overwhelmed) and hes following my direction for a minute until he he gives up and grabs a random bag of cheetos, I shake my head, but he brings it to the counter and scans it before gesturing for me to pay. I wanted to grab two more things and I really don't like cheetos, but at this point i was standing in the rain after being at the gym and had been doing this for a good ten minute so I pay and leave. it was a really stressful experience and I ended up buying something I didn't want because the guy got frustrated (I get that it was stressful for him but never in the two years that I've lived next to the gas station had he gotten an order right and I am start to feel like it's more than just miscommunication as every other person at that gas station is so sweet and patient and always gets it at least mostly right).
