Terrible place, terrible owner. 5 cents cheaper on fuel is not worth it. My mom booked a uhaul with her credit card and paid online. What we didn't realize is that they need it again at the store when you pick it up. Our bad. I went to grab the van without her, when I said I didn't have the card, he accused me of being rude for no reason, I was definitely taken back. He told me I'm not renting a van without the card, and I told him I would come back with my mom. He then asked if she would behave in the store, I asked him what the hell did you just say? Then he said I was rude and I couldn't rent a van at all. I'll admit, once this transpired I proceeded to tell him to F himself and started walking out. He ran out from behind the counter and grabbed what I think was a window brush as a weapon. We exchanged a few more words and I left. If you read other reviews online, his responses are great, accusing reviewers of working for the competition and doing spam reviews. No apologies, points out reviewers spelling mistakes, what a class act. read more

This place has the most lousy customer service and has a person that drives a blue dodge.1500 that is either a customer or a part of the team who is so arrogant that let a customer drop a propane tank at their propane filling station and go in to ask for help. Completely rundown appearance and the customer service was a reflection of the appearance. I didn't end up filling up here on an empty tank I was glad to risk it then to stay and deal with someone's unhealed parts taking it out on literally every one around them. Go somewhere else. You will save yourself unnecessary. Not to mention the Google reviews on this place were soooo clearly all real negative interactions and none of them FAKE like this owner likes to state in every reply they make to try and save face. At 3:25 p.m. on June 19, 2022 I pulled in to buy fuel. Paying at the pump was not an option, so I went inside to prepay. When I got to the counter and requested gas and which pump, expecting to use Interac, he held out his hand and expected me to hand over my debit card. (No explanation offered). When I refused he became agitated and aggressive; told me to get out, and I turned to leave. He then told me to get some manners at which point I turned around and asked for the head office phone number, He said "that's me". I turned around and walked away again and as I reached the door he again said "get some manners" or I'll call the cops, I responded with two words seven letters. He then threatened to kick my a--, as I was halfway back to the car while hiding behind the door. I invited him to come out and say that, and as he came out holding a broom in his hand, he walked to my car and supposedly memorized the license plate and then stated he was calling the cops, at which point I said go ahead, I'll wait. While waiting, I noticed him outside doing something at the other end of the parking lot. I waited 10 minutes and left. Had he explained why he wanted me to physically hand him my card, I may have considered it. But when somebody tells me to hand over my debit card without explaining why and the get pissed when I won't, well wasn't willing to risk unexplained charges to my account. They should have negatives stars available to review this business because 1 star is overrating. Worst customer service I have ever had! Rented a uhaul from them for 11:30am. After trying to reach this "business" that doesn't answer their phones. I showed up on time ready to book my Uhaul. The cashier at the time was very rude and told me I could not rent the uhaul without a valid credit card, so he told me if I can find someone with a credit card that I will be able to rent the uhaul I booked. 30 mins later I show up with a valid credit card (had to knock on the window because the doors were locked in the middle of the day) ready to drive away in the Uhaul and the cashier tells me he cancelled my reservation. I called uhaul to explain the situation and they told me that the notes said that he did not cancel my reservation but instead refused to rent the uhaul to me. I don't how you can be proud of running a business when all your reviews are negative. read more

Awful awful business. It's definitely not closed, as Yelp states, though it should be! Cheap gas isn't worth not getting your change back or having to give a clerk your literal debit card PIN number! Very dangerous place for women as well. read more

These guys are probably dangerous. I bought some gum. The guy behind the counter ripped the pinpad out of my hands and threw out the receipt. This scared me. I asked for the receipt. The guy behind the counter then got really mad and said that I didn't want it. I persisted that I wanted proof of my transaction. He then started to call me words like, "deranged", "crazy" and swore at me. I stood my ground. I was concerned that he was trying to steal my debit information. All the while I was very polite, yet direct. He started to say, "I'll call the cops! " and, "come behind the counter and get it out of the garbage! " I don't think I really need to say more... I eventually convinced him to reprint my receipt so that I could get the hell out of there! (No way I was going behind the counter. Did he have a gun?). I've never been so scared to buy some gum! I'm really worried that someone is going to get hurt by giving these guys business! read more

I had a 10 dollar bill and I was going to give 5 dollars in loonies and twoonies, this guy said we don't take change, the bank charges us. He said it about three times, I thought he was kidding and joking. But he was actually serious. So I said this is Canadian currency and your refusing my money. He said we only take bills, I said ok I will go somewhere else. He replied don't let the door hit you on your way out. I can't even believe they get away with this. read more

This is the worst place to go! Customer service doesn't exist here. Went in to by a lottery ticket. Was going to pay with 2 toonies and a loonie. The guy refused to accept my currency stating the bank charges them!!! I told him that's bull and he began swearing at me. I then asked him his name so I could report him and he began making a clacking sound. I have been here in the past and never was abused in this manner before. I'd heard from other people about how rude they were and such. I now must agree with them and will also join the ranks of those going elsewhere. I made a huge mistake expecting this "lack of" service station when I stopped there for a gas fill and car wash to be a normal experience. Only one very rude attendant who locks the door when someone comes to get propane, so other customers have to wait outside to pay. It was pouring rain. This station was the first one in Calgary I was aware of who make you pre-pay for your gas. Signs are on paper taped to the pumps advising you to pay first. So basically a customer guesses how much gas your car will take. But if you mis-calculate, they don't give you a refund. I am not able to guesstimate so I pay and fill and go back in once the door is unlocked to buy something else...like a lotto ticket since they don't give refunds, I also paid for a car wash and the bay's dryer wasn't working. I went back in and lazy owner/operator said no I could not get a refund and no he couldn't see if he could get the dryer to work. Was arrogant and rude to me and I said I would never ever be back. Their gas prices are often low but not low enough for me to set foot there again. Too bad the rating isn't in the minus stars here. read more

Do not shop there. The service is horrible and the guy behind the counter lacks basic principles of morals and ethics. My 3 year old boy needed the washroom while I was filling up, the guy asked my wife to go across the street to Costco. I tried reasoning with him but he kept talking about how I should read the signs. I left and he followed outside. Again he started talking about the sign, and finally I told him what to do with it....he started using filthy words in front of my wife and 3 little kids...These people are not professional and definitely don't deserve our business. read more

This place is a rip off. They don't give change. Yes you read that right. Rather thy give you "In Store Credit..." You can use later. The Server was rude when we asked why. I was also looking to re-fill my propane tank. He insisted on selling me a "Newly Certified" one for $50+. Which was only about 20% full. Avoid this place at all costs. read more
