They get in deep so if you don't like it too hard just tell them to go lighter in the beginning. They have unique techniques (yes some of them get in the table to really get in there on a better angle) and they do massage the sides of bum which I love because that's a neglected area that holds a lot of tension. Staff is always friendly and so far every time we have gone we have had great massages. Definitely give it a try!

Provider never called me. (3 times!) After finally speaking to acupuncturist and being told "someone would call to schedule me" no one called. I kept leaving messages on their voicemail letting the office know no one was calling me. Manager called to apologize and offered free massage. When I went for the massage I explained my cervical condition to massage therapist and told her the muscles would not release, because the issue is neurological. She worked on my neck anyway. Pain was so bad I had tears running down my face. I asked her not to touch the neck anymore as it was too painful. She then began to massage my shoulder area ONLY for the rest of the hour. She never worked on another body part and kept going up my neck. I left in pain and woke up with bad headache from the treatment. Additionally, the front desk staff looked bored and were not overly friendly. The only positives I have is that the manager who called was truly apologetic and I could hear her frustration with her staff not following up with me. The facility is very upscale looking. It's a shame the staff and service do not possess the same quality.

They do not look up when you walk in to say hello and check you in, do not look up when you walk by the desk to checkout, basically make you feel like you're bothering them. I have addressed this to the manager before, they recognized my name when I came in and the manager was right there, the receptionist was attentive at that point, since then it's back to the same. It's unfortunate because it's such a gorgeous peaceful space with great practitioners,I think they're afraid to fire the front desk staff because it's hard to get great people anymore. -please please train them and give them incentives to do better. I was in the hospitality and sales industry for many years and these employees would not make it.

But once you walk inside the music and the zen lobby put you right in spa mode. Pamela greeted me warmly and showed me around to the changing room where she gave me a robe and slippers to change into. I was impressed to see they had some lockers for me to store my clothes and purse in. Throughout all the spaces the same relaxing music was playing. I then went into the massage room where Pamela asked me a few questions then left me to get situated before starting my massage. This was the first time I've ever had a massage where I started out laying on my back and I really liked it. I told her my neck and muscles around my should blade were bothering me and that's where she started. She checked in with me to make sure the pressure was good (it was) and throughout the massage I was comfortable, relaxed and thoroughly enjoying the massage. After the massage, I didn't want to leave. I felt so relaxed and my neck was feeling good, I wasn't ready to go back out into the hustle and bustle that was just outside. Thankfully, I didn't have to! Pamela showed me to the lounge and offered me something to drink (water, hot or cold teas, etc) and she had brought out an array of chocolates and some snacks. I sat and reflected for a little relaxing on the lounge chair before begrudgingly going back to the changing room to get dressed and go back to my errands. I was so pleased with my experience I bought my mom a gift card before I left. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in the area. This was a great way to relax and recharge.
