I took the spring and summer months off from this studio because I couldn't bear the thought of facing a heated room. Did hot yoga (Bikram) once at another studio. Never again! It was the single most disgusting class of my life. I was physically ill for days. I believe and have learned from other yogis that a hot room is not healthy, especially at my age (58), and not necessary at any age. You should not have to drink water during your practice as it too distracting. I had to drink water today at Summus because I felt lightheaded and weak. I was unable to fully enjoy the class because my energy level was diminished due to the heat. It was probably 90F in there. I don't see the need for temp to be above 75F.

Went here twice. Both massages were good however the reception could use some work…read more The first visit ended with the receptionist arguing with me about "undertipping" when I asked for a certain amount of change back after paying for the service. The total difference she was arguing was a $2 difference. The whole time she was holding my change hostage until I agreed with her. I did hold my ground and tipped what I was planning in the end but it was definitely uncalled for behavior. I could tell on my second visit that I was marked in the system some how because I was then required to pay prior to service and then was questioned by the staff to confirm when my last visit was. Tipping culture has gotten out of control and to be treated like this over $2 is crazy. Will not be returning.
