The Frederick Kaiser pharmacy sucks, they are not consistent with filling prescriptions and wait…read moretimes. One month they fill at 28 days and the next month they fill at 30 days which is far from consistent plus they send you text messalegs with inconsistent information. I received a text message this morning from Kaiser that said would fill on 3/6/25 (today is 3/6/25). To be sure I called the pharmacy and they said they were working on filling the script. Then I get another text message that said they would fill on 3/7/25 (ok now I'm confused). So I call the pharmacy again to clear up my confusion and ask to speak with a pharmacist who precedes to tell me now they won't fill it until 3/8/25!!! Now I'm completely confused and a little angry now at this point. So now I'm forced to drive to Gaithersburg on Saturday ( which I was supposed to be out of town with my husband) to fill a prescription that I should have gotten today.

How the nurse helped my mom and her boyfriend to get every single piece of info that they needed to be ok with leaving and going home after surgery. I chose the hybrid online/in-person combo because it offered hands-on EKG labs. In 5 weeks, I only got to do 2 EKGs. "Labs" were mostly lectures, and there was only 1 machine so everyone only got 2 attempts to do an EKG. The promised "externship coordinator" called me once then sent me links to ZipRecruiter ads like I'm an idiot and hand't already looked at/applied to all the ads. Total joke. It's no accident that the EKG Tech course at Long Beach State no longer offers an optional externship -- because there probably never was one! And in order to qualify for the externship they advertised, I had to: 1)get a letter from my doctor stating I'm in good health 2) have a background check 3) get a TB test and update all vaccines 4) take a BLS CPR course 5)send my resume. I did all that, and 2 months later, no externship, and now nobody at CCI is returning my emails. I live in a major city with lots of hospitals, and CCI told me they have contracts with those hospitals. I asked Cal State Long Beach if anyone taking that course had ever been placed in an externship, and they didn't answer that question. They said they'd look into it. I wish I could get my money back and go somewhere with confirmed externships. Now I'm out the money and have no job prospect. Please choose wisely, and learn from my mistake. Stick with an accredited vocational school or community college that has students you can talk to that have actually gotten an externship. CCI needs to be audited by whoever is giving them accreditation.

She recognized her from previous visits and made sure she understood her next steps. My aunt is older and needs a doctor whiling to take their time with her. The stars are based on the staff before you get to the doctor. Even though they were in there they didn't come to unlock the door until 8 am on the nose. Her appointment was at 8. After the paperwork we didn't get to the back until about 8:20am. We were the only people there. The door should be opened 5 - 10 minutes early so people can be going back closer to their appointment time. The MA was not very friendly even with my aunt asking how she was doing she just sighed and said good with her back to her walking away. She was obviously having a bad morning but she should be better with patients. She was very dry and uninterested. Update: The practice reached out and they will be revising the time they open the doors in the morning and speaking with staff about demeanor when dealing with the patients.
