The property manager is on their A-Game 24/7 and so is Leasing. These are some of the most hospitable team members I have ever been privileged to be a tenant under. Maintenance? They'll be at your door before you know it. This was such a game-changer compared to the level of services I received at another property proximate to this corridor on I-93. This staff really makes you feel like you're at home, always. This community feels more like owning/renting a townhouse than an apartment where you have to constantly worry about what goes on around you. You are safe here. This is the most comforting place I have lived since being in the Greater Boston area. It is a hidden gem if you enjoy golfing/visiting Granite Links, direct access to I-93, hiking in the Blue Hills Reservation, having a beautiful pool to bask in during warmer months, or care about having more privacy than a similar type of complex anywhere nearby. There's a reason I stay here and likely will - it's the staff and quality of living. You won't find that same level of dedication anywhere within 4 miles of proximity. Some neighbors were very obnoxious. I would hold the main entrance door for the person behind me to come in, and she wouldn't even acknowledge me as if I was a doorman. This happens a few times - I'm pretty sure it was the same person. There would also be some neighbors who are drunk late at night and be loud at the parking lot.

Not as modern as some of the other apartment buildings we saw, but the size of our unit more than makes up for it. Management is relatively quick to respond to issues. I moved in July 10. Since then, we have had issues getting maintenance orders responded to in a timely manner (took about a week to repair the broken washer), though management communicated it was due to the head of maintenance being out so they were understaffed. Another issue I've noticed is with recycling - there is a large compactor at the entrance of the community that is absolutely chock full. So full that people had no choice but to place their recycling outside resulting in a huge pile of cardboard. The biggest issue is the package room. Every single building in the community has their own package room - but packages are extremely commonly delivered to the incorrect building, so it becomes a game of checking each building for your package. Overall I still have enjoyed living here so far, but it definitely has its quirks.

We have been long residents here and, in the beginning, when this place first opened up, it was a great place to live. The prior managers were efficient and friendly. We have put up with the constant turnover of new managers over the last 2-3 years and plan on leaving as soon as we can. We had rented out their event space for a baby shower and after it ended, people went home. During late at night AFTER HOURS, a group of strangers came in and trashed the place. This was all caught on camera and there was supposedly "security on premises" yet the prop manager still placed the blame on us and banned us from renting the place going forward. They even tried sticking us with the cleaning bill of $2,500! Thankfully, we were able to have that waived after we replied and told them to check their cameras, because it was clearly not our fault. So even with proof and footage, they won't take accountability and place unfair blame on us. Are we supposed to stay at the event space for 24 hours and monitor who's there? Is that OUR responsibility? Are we supposed to interrogate everyone that comes through the Clubhouse? That's not our job. Where was security during all of this? In the video tape footage, you can see that it is a group of teenagers. Me and my guests are adults, small children and older family members who are there to celebrate a baby shower. Completely ridiculous. In conclusion, they need to do better to serve and accommodate their residents.

The apartment we have there isn't 400 sq feet, it's nearly 700 for the same price. The management is on it and very responsive at Boston East.

Between the managers, maintenance and 24 hour concierge service, I give it the ranking of A+. We have created so many lasting friendships at The Eddy-3 years have flown by, and we will miss it here. On 4/8 we had a Quincy housing inspector come and look at the ceiling issues in our closet. He was…read moregoing to write a violation if management did not address the closet ceiling issue. Management was notified and this seemed to accelerate the process of having this issue fixed after dealing with this for a month. 4/17 We heard back from management today that the ceiling work is complete. They also will have the closet carpet shampooed due to damage that occur while the ceiling was worked on. Management also reviewed our request for concessions and we came to an agreement. As for the roof leaking issue, I was told that the issue was that there was condensation along the pipes in our closet ceiling which was causing water to leak into our closet. We only experienced leaking water into our closet only when it was pouring rain out so hopefully the work they did will prevent condensation leaking into our closet in the future.
