Class of 2026 I'm an athlete, and the bias that I've…read moreobtained is crazy. If you are disabled and need assistance, you got better luck going to Bixby or somewhere other than BA. They don't allow MEDICALLY TRAINED SERVICE DOGS for any students who need or have to have one, and on top of that they would only send them to options who are for kids that just need some extra help. Only 5% of our student body has a disability and that including autism. I would rather pay 50k to send my kid to a Catholic high school that I wouldn't even approve of then send them to this school. Respectfully, if your student need extra help(AKA service animals) maybe don't try to send them to options and actual do your job to protect the students more than the teachers. They run it like the government with trump in office, the rich(admin) want to stay rich, while the poor(students) stay poor and underneath them. Young teachers actual can't even do their job because we can't keep politics out of our school and yet isn't church and state separate? If I had a choice I would have just went to Union.(THEY ARE RATED HIGHER AND YET SUPPOSEDLY THEIR SO BAD) Send you kid anywhere else if you don't want them to hate themselves.

I first enrolled my daughter into this "school" after she completed the 9th grade. A few weeks…read moreafter they found out she had a seizure disorder they began tormenting us about having a meeting for a 504 plan. That being said we went to the meeting and laid out the accommodations we thought would best serve her needs, signed it and we were under the impression all her teachers would know what to do should she have a seizure during school hours. Well, no more than a week later she has a seizure in one of her classes and the teacher does nothing. She convulses, falls out of her desk and continues convulsing for a reported five minutes until a classmate was able to locate her rescue medicine. After this incident her anxiety became so bad about going to school that seizures increased. After all this we pulled her out of the high school and placed her in BAVA. She graduated tonight no thanks to the staff of Broken Arrow High School. The only reason they had us fill out the 504 plan was to check a box for more funding. They didn't give two shits about my daughter. Do not enroll your kids in this school if you are expecting a caring environment.

After 14 months, we made the decision to withdraw our son…read more During his enrollment, he was moved between five classrooms. In his final classroom, the ratio was approximately 24 children to 2 teachers. Shortly after that placement, we began receiving daily calls to pick him up within 1-2 hours due to alleged "aggressive behavior" that has never been observed at home or elsewhere. Concerned, we observed the classroom via camera ourselves and did not witness the behaviors described. Our son has a documented egg allergy, with physician documentation and an EpiPen on file. Despite this, he was served food containing egg and began showing signs of an allergic reaction, which was extremely alarming. We frequently received incident reports when he was blamed for behavior, yet when he came home with bite marks, bumps, or bruises, we received no calls or documentation. Meal reports consistently stated he ate all food provided, yet he came home hungry and reported not eating. In the past several months, we also stopped receiving photos of his daily activities, and he no longer brought home crafts, schoolwork, or holiday projects. It appeared as though students were not regularly sitting for activities, coloring, or making pictures. We also noticed a pattern of other 2-3-year-old boys enrolling and leaving within short timeframes. In our experience, the classroom environment appeared overwhelmed, and concerns were not handled consistently or transparently.
