Centennial Hyundai Shows No Respect for Customer Vehicles beyond point of sale. In March 2025, we purchased an Earthy Brass Santa Fe Calligraphy from Centennial Hyundai. From the start, the dealership made it very clear that matte vehicles should never go through their automated car wash. This warning came from everyone involved, including the trade-in manager, sales associate, and finance manager. Despite this, the problems started immediately. After taking the car home, we noticed a 4 inch scratch on the passenger side roofline. We reported it, and while the dealer said they would take care of it, the process was disastrous. The paint shop drove the vehicle recklessly on the way to the shop and then took an 18 plus mile detour south on the way back to the dealership. When it returned, the service department sent the car through their automated wash, causing additional scratches. These were two separate instances that showed the dealership themselves and their proxies simply do not handle customer vehicles with respect. After demanding proper attention, they washed the car again, causing more damage. At that point, I insisted on a refund and credit toward another Santa Fe. They processed this reluctantly, even trying to make me absorb depreciation caused entirely by their mishandling. Fast forward to today. I took the replacement vehicle, a matte Ecotronic Gray Santa Fe, in for service. While they avoided the automated wash this time, a service technician scratched the driver's interior door and the exterior of the rear driver's door, my guess is from keys on a carabiner. Promises of follow-up calls about the damage and an outstanding recall never came. To top it off, the managers will make sure you fill out the corporate survey to their satisfaction while still in the office, showing exactly where their priorities lie. The bottom line is that Centennial Hyundai does not respect customer property beyond the point of sale. Their service department mismanages vehicles, ignores follow-through, and causes unnecessary damage. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, especially if you own a matte vehicle or care about how your car is treated. read more

Shauna gave me a terrible trade‑in value with high‑pressure sales, and Johnathan in Finance buried me in over $10,000 of extras (about $5,000 in bogus oil/battery add‑ons and nearly $5,000 for a barely explained warranty) that I'm now paying interest on. Fast forward my key fob, the battery went dead in the fob and when we went to use the manual key it was never cut to match my car. when I bought the car I called my salesman 3 times, left messages and he never called me back. Enter Joe, the nice one, lol cause there's two Joe's. We didn't know about the above situation until Joe had spent more than four hours with us. Whomever runs this business should be fired! Three weeks ago I purchased a 2023 Kona with slightly over 22,0000 miles. I paid cash for the car. I drove the car 8 miles since I bought it. Today, when I got in my car, the battery was dead. When I called them and requested they replace the battery, I was told its warranty had expired two days ago, and refused to replace it or pay for the one I had to buy. This dealership just wants to sell you a car and they don't care about you afterwards. How can they sell you a car without even checking to see if the battery is working or not. I came well-prepared: shared full financing details, zip code, trade info, and asked for a clean out-the-door quote so I could finalize quickly. Over the course of four days, I followed up respectfully and professionally. My tone was patient the entire time. I wasn't haggling or demanding--I just asked for a detailed breakdown and confirmation on warranty options so I could move forward. Despite this, most of my questions went unanswered. On Monday, after not hearing back, I sent a final message to check in--and was ignored. No reply, no courtesy message. Then I checked the listing today and found the vehicle was sold. To be clear: they never ran my credit. I did all of that on my own, came to them as a serious, qualified buyer, and still ended up ghosted. I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at your location, specifically involving an employee named CJ. When I arrived, I clearly explained that I needed my car serviced quickly because it was my first day at a new job. I even said I was completely willing to reschedule if it couldn't be completed in time. CJ assured me it would be done before my deadline, so I trusted his word. Throughout the day, I kept asking for updates via text and was repeatedly told things like "just working on the quote" or "processing the parts." However, when my significant other and I drove by the lot multiple times, I noticed my car hadn't even been moved. So that must mean, It turns out the work had already been completed -- yet instead of being honest and contacting me, they were trying to upsell unnecessary services. As a result, I had to leave my car overnight, rearrange my partner's schedule last-minute, and show up to my new job under unnecessary stress -- all because of the lack of honesty and professionalism from CJ and the team. This was supposed to be a simple light replacement, not an all-day ordeal filled with misleading updates and delays. I'm extremely disappointed and feel that my time and trust were completely disrespected. My car battery died. Roadside service called Hyundai and one of the techs there and roadside diagnosed that the 12volt battery was dead. Car towed to Hyundai and received by service manager, Daniel Lopez called me to verify that my car had been received then asked what was wrong with it. I proceeded to tell the 12volt battery needed to be replaced. He replied that it would be checked out in the morning since it was already late. I received a call at 9am the next day stating they were looking at my car and I would hear back in couple of hours. After 4 pm I called to get a status. After several voice mails and texts received a return call at 5:55pm, stating 12volt battery needed to be replaced. I repeated that was what I told him the previous day. I requested the battery be replaced and asked what time I could pick it up on Saturday. Daniel replied he would have together pricing and get back to me. At 7:40am Saturday I receive a text stating the battery would be $170 plus $35 for labor. I replied great, what time could I pick up my car. Daniel replied Monday. I said that I had to be at work Monday if they could provide a loaner for the day, to which he replied "Hyundai won't pay for a loaner. I reminded him that when car was received on Thursday I told what was wrong and needed to be done. Then on Friday morning was told car was being checked at 9 am and why wasn't battery ordered then? no reply. I then said if Hyundai would not give me a loaner then they would have to pay me a days wages since the car was there Thursday and knew what was wrong. 40 minutes later I got text saying found me a loaner. 10 minutes later was told got the battery and they would send an Uber to pick so I could get my car. When arriving at service department was asked if I was Ms Beck, to which I replied yes. Daniel looked at me and said " I expected someone much younger, what are you doing still working" I resonded that I needed to. Paid for battery, got my car and went home. Upon getting out of the car I noticed a long scratch in middle of my hood. This is a condensed version of what happened. Honestly buying a car here was an average experience compared to trading it in for an Audi, the Audi experience was next level but as I felt in the service center when I had issues and was lied to previously and poor customer experience, after trade-in and my car was paid off. I went to Hyundai waited to speak to a finance person and they said oh you'll just get your check mailed to you for the gap. I now got something in the mail from Hyundai finance saying to contact my gap provider or the dealership I bought it from which I tried to prior and they sent me to the bank before after waiting 30 minutes to have someone simply tell me I'll just wait for the bank. Now I'm back to this loop again. I've left multiple voicemails on finances. Voicemail line since trading in the car in December would not a single call back to a voicemail prior to me even going in that dealership I had left two voicemails before waiting for the finance department to tell me to wait on the bank. I now have left another voicemail with no callback. Maybe a poor review of their customer service and experienced will generate a call back for not only. How do I get my gap refunded to me but how they can improve. Their website says they buy cars. So, I brought my car in to get an offer. Got there at 9am. Waiting. At 9:20 someone takes my keys. Ten minutes later they bring the keys back and tell me a manager will present me with an offer sheet soon. Waiting. Waiting.... Waiting. TWO AND A HALF HOURS. No "we're working on your offer", no "sorry about the delay." It was literally like I was invisible. And the place wasn't slammed. There were never more than 2 or 3 other customers being helped in the showroom at any time. Finally I left, giving my contact info to the person that greeted me three hours earlier, telling him that they could send me the offer or call me. It's now 6pm and NOTHING. Ghosted. We went in to look at two different used vehicles. We walked the lot and looked at the two we saw online. We were out there for some time, but no one came up to help us so we went inside. Once inside we were approached by a sales associate, took a test drive and decided to purchase the vehicle. We then had to wait quite some time for the finance associate. Anytime I've ever purchased a vehicle the one person was able to handle the entire process, not that big of a deal, but very time consuming having to wait for different people. The finance associate seemed very unorganized and did not go over any document we signed or say what it pertained to. He just proceeded to lay documents in front of us and stared at his computer. What made us most angry was right when we walked in he had said that he had gotten us a 2 year warranty. Come to find out the car was still under factory warranty and he had added it to our payment without our knowledge. Our fault for not catching it at the time, but also very shady to get us to pay for a warranty that overlaps with the existing factory warranty, and making it sound as if he included it at no cost. They also provide a thumb drive with the paperwork you sign; however, not all of the documents were on it and they were all out of order. But you wouldn't even know this until you get home. Most of the interaction with the sales associate went smoothly; however, I had asked three different times if they take care of the registration the first year and they said yes every time. Come to find out when we went to input the information online for the vehicle we had to pay. We asked him about it and he said all they do is take care of the paperwork. He should have been more clear when I had asked about it several times. I did not ask if they took care of the paperwork, I asked if they took care of the first payment. I should also point out that they stated that they would call us when the paperwork came in that needed to be picked up. However, they never called us. We just happened to stop by after waiting about 2 weeks and it was there. There had been a small chip in the windshield of the car we purchased so it needed to be brought back in to be replaced. The vehicle was dropped off on a different day at 8:30am and they would not provide a loaner car. It was around 2:30pm and we hadn't heard anything. My husband called in to get an eta, where he was then transferred to a voicemail box. I called back about 20 minutes later and the same associate answered saying only this specific person would have an eta on when it would be finished. This time she said she would contact him and find out for us. Not sure why they leave it to only one single person to know if a vehicle is done or not, but it seems as though maybe they should have some sort of system where when you call the service department anyone could find out this information. She got back on the phone and come to find out it had been ready to be picked up this whole time. When my husband went to pick it up he went inside and they handed him the key telling him it was right outside. He went outside and walked around quite a bit and could not find it so he walked all the way back inside where this time the guy told him to take the key to the porter. The porter then proceeded to try and find the vehicle and finally did after quite some time. All and all we love the vehicle we purchased; however, would never EVER purchase from this dealership again. They were completely unorganized. You have to deal with multiple different people to get one specific thing done and they appear to be very shady with some of the things they do, as we are now stuck paying extra for a warranty we didn't even need. read more

My air conditioner went out on my car a few weeks ago, I called Centennial Hyundai about it and they did not have anything available until Tuesday October 10th at 8:15am. Luckily the weather has cooled down here in Vegas so it wasn't bad driving around with no air. I arrived at my appointment Tuesday morning and was assisted by Henry, I advised him I had an extended warranty and that the air was not working, he advised me that they would do a multi vehicle inspection on it and check everything to see what was wrong. He called me a Lyft to take me home and advised me he would call me the next day and let me know what was going on. He called me Wednesday morning, and advised me the compressor had gone out and that it was covered under the extended warranty and they had the part in stock and would install and call when the car was ready, he called me later that day and advised me my car was ready to be picked up. I came in this morning Thursday October 12th and paid my $100 deductible for a $1300 service and went on my way, everyone purchase an extended warranty it's worth it! When we first moved to Vegas and got our cars here the sales man was great and helpful and said holla if you ever need me. The moment we left the lot, never heard from Him again until I texted 5 times and then finally called the dealership ( I was owed a Referal fee and was having some car issues) but again not the end of the world it's a car dealership I can only expect so much from them... now the issue, every time I go they try and up charge me for things that should be free and I call them out on it every single time. Again whatever just "doing" their have a quota to hit job but now I have recieved this email 5 times since my last service date a MONTH AGO! I received the absolute worst customer service from this place. I called and made an appointment, when I showed up to the appointment they said whoever we spoke to didn't actually put it into the computer so we have to come back some other day. The second time we drive all the way back there, they say that they'll probably need to keep the car for a few days...but don't have a loaner to give us. I have owned four new Hyundai vehicles since 2004. I have never had any problems until I bought a brand new Santa Fe from this dealership in 2022. When I took it in for the usual service, they claimed that I needed a break flush at 18k miles out of pocket for $270. Which they later said wasn't needed. Three weeks ago my car would not accelerate and it required two new fuel injectors replaced at 19k miles, and I was informed that the $195 diagnostic fee might not be covered under my warranty. Also, they only do diagnostics 3 days/week. So I was left without a vehicle for 8 days. They managed to give me a loaner for the last two days, after asking if I had any other vehicle that I could drive. After I contacted corporate, they covered the diagnostic. They never took any accountability for trying to charge me for unnecessary services and leaving me without transportation for 6 days. With a three year old vehicle at under 20k miles, these problems and their unwillingness to work with me is problematic. I will be trading it in very soon with a different manufacturer. read more

Bought a car from Centennial Hyundai a little over 3 years ago, and recently traded it in for a newer, non Hyundai vehicle. Part of our purchase was a 10 year extended warranty and GAP insurance. We had to come back to the dealership to cancel the warranty and GAP. We had all the paperwork necessary and made it as easy as we could for the finance manager. He started the transaction not being able to find our vehicle, questioning the VIN number. Then he began questioning us whether we were sure we bought the vehicle while the current owner group owned the dealership. We knew for a fact that they did, but he seemed to do everything he could to not do the transaction. Ultimately, he FINALLY completed the paperwork. Because of the process, I requested copies of all documents to show proof that the refunds were processed. His attitude then got much worse. He made it appear like we were being a complete nuisance to him. When he brought the copies, he literally slammed the paperwork down on the desk. I waited to post this review until all money was successfully refunded, because I feared if I posted it before then, my checks would magically go missing. We had a terrible experience at this dealership. From the start, the salesman was dismissive and rude. When we tried to negotiate the price (as anyone would), he actually said, "This car's not for everyone." Real professional. They also tried to pad the price with hidden fees and upsell the vehicle way beyond its value. When it came to our trade-in, they lowballed my girlfriend's Range Rover by $4,000 below fair trade-in value. all because of a minor $300 cosmetic crack on the engine cover and two tires that needed replacing. Ridiculous. This place operates with shady business practices . Be careful if you walk in--read every line, question every fee, and don't expect honesty or respect. We won't be back, and I'd recommend others take their business elsewhere. read more

I bought a 2012 mini cooper from them and it turned out to be one of the worst purchases in my life. I trusted them that the car was good but unfortunately I got the car in last march and by may problems started happening. Got it checked by a mini Cooper dealership and they gave me $9000 in repair costs. More than the car is worth. So $7000 down the drain. I will never buy a car from them again. read more
