I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Subaru Las Vegas Centennial was disappointing. I put a down payment on my vehicle and then waited about a week to take delivery because I was told the car would be cleaned and serviced. When I finally picked it up, there was still dirt in several areas, an unpleasant odor inside the vehicle, and dust coming from the A/C vents. It did not appear to be prepared to the standard I was expecting. Shortly after purchase, I noticed an unusual sound during cold starts after the vehicle sat overnight, as well as surface rust on all four brake calipers and wheel bolts. Each time I raised these concerns, I was repeatedly told that everything was "normal" without much explanation or effort to investigate. What made the experience worse was the communication after the sale. At one point, I texted the sales manager a video of the startup sound around 7:00 AM so she could hear exactly what I was referring to. Instead of addressing the concern, her response was, "Hi, it's really early." I found that response unprofessional and dismissive. If a customer is reaching out about a vehicle concern, the focus should be on helping the customer, not commenting on what time the message was sent. A response later in the morning would have been perfectly fine. I was also told I would need to pay $250 for an inspection regarding concerns I raised almost immediately after taking delivery. As a customer who had just purchased a vehicle, that was frustrating to hear. The only reason this review is not one star is because the General Manager stepped in after I emailed him directly. He responded quickly, arranged for the service department to inspect the vehicle at no charge, and provided me with a loaner vehicle for the day. The service department was professional, responsive, and far more helpful than my experience on the sales side. I appreciate the efforts made by the General Manager and service department, but it should not take escalating concerns to upper management for a customer to feel heard. Once the sale was completed, I felt my concerns were largely dismissed rather than taken seriously. Because of this experience, I will be taking my future Subaru maintenance and service business to another Subaru dealership in Las Vegas. read more

We upgraded to a Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness edition from the Subaru Crosstrek limited edition. We really only went in for an oil change and talked with Jeff in Service. We told him we were thinking of upgrading to a Wilderness edition He was so polite and he got as a sales person right away. We were then greeted by salesman Francis S and he was the most polite and kind salesman we had encountered for a long time. He showed us a few of the 2025 models and my husband fell in love with the sapphire blue. And all of the amenities that it had, including the larger tires was a plus. We had several questions about the warranty, the trade-in and other things and so Francis introduced us to Dominic in Finance. He also was very polite informative, and really answered all of our questions straight up. As we were waiting for some paperwork, we were introduced to the General Manager Chance he was also just very kind, very polite and made sure we had no questions This dealership is awesome. The perks that they add when you buy a car, the quality of the dealership, the cleanliness of the dealership and just all over positive polite people that work in the dealership makes it all worth a while if you're looking for a Subaru this would be the dealership that I would choose. I traded my 2018 Jeep Wrangler for a 2017 Volvo XC90 at Centennial Subaru in January. The sales lady didn't know why the car was priced so low and the manager told her it was because he thought the color was ugly. 3.5 months later it needs $7600 in repairs due to a coolant leak and the AC went out. I didn't end up buying a vehicle from Centennial Subaru, and after my experience, I absolutely never will -- and I'll be advising friends and family to avoid this dealership too. I stopped by to check out a lease deal on the Subaru Solterra, which Subaru was promoting at the time. The vehicle itself felt fairly basic -- it would've worked in a pinch, but nothing stood out. Still, I was curious about the pricing and wanted to start comparing EV options. I initially worked with Angel Weick, who was friendly enough on the first test drive. But once I told him I was early in my EV shopping and wasn't ready to commit, he brought in Sales Manager Carlos Parker -- and that's when the experience completely fell apart. Carlos immediately launched into the tired cliché: "What's it going to take to get you in this vehicle today?" I explained again that I was just beginning my EV search and had other vehicles to test. He didn't respect that at all -- instead, the pressure escalated fast: "You need to do this right now because ___" "You won't find a better deal than this..." "I've never offered anyone this good of a deal." They even lowered the offer a little to sweeten it, but continued pushing with classic fear tactics -- trying to make me feel like I'd miss out forever if I didn't say yes right now. Out of courtesy, I agreed to a second test drive. Angel clearly didn't want to be there and gave off a disinterested, cold attitude. While I was in the car, I got a call from another dealership I'd been in touch with. They calmly asked if I'd stop by if they could lower the down payment. No pressure. No attitude. Just a simple question and clear numbers -- and a vehicle that had a $53,150 MSRP, compared to the $39,915 Solterra I was sitting in. I told Subaru I had to check out the other offer. That's when things went fully off the rails. Carlos insisted "they're lying to you," accused the other dealership of hiding costs, and even shouted: "That's bull***! I used to work there, they can't give you that! I'm giving you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"* He was aggressive, borderline cursing at me, and literally shoved a monitor toward me to try to prove his point. I calmly told him, "I don't need an EV, or a second vehicle at all -- but I have another offer I need to explore." His final words? "Your loss." Well... it wasn't. The other dealership -- Findlay Honda Henderson -- not only matched the offer, they beat it. I got a far better vehicle, at $1,500 down and $215/month, and everyone there was respectful, easy to talk to, and zero pressure. They did everything right. I also visited or spoke to Jim Marsh Kia, Team Chevrolet, and others -- every one of them was courteous and respected my process. The lady who was helping us left saying she would be back in a minute. Well 20 minutes later a young man came back and said I'm sorry I have some bad news. He said we just sold the car for cash to another customer!! After we had already made a deal, test drove and signed papers agreeing to the deal. WE WERE THERE FIRST. No exceptions, I do care if someone came in behind us and offered you DOUBLE what we were going to pay. They already made the deal with us!! Now the issue of them dinging our credit so hard that it lowered our credit score even lower than it already was is a completely different issue all together. I will definitely be getting my attorney involved on this. This is a very shady way to do business. They discarded us like yesterday's garbage. This should not be allowed to happen. Later, when her trusted mechanic looked at her vehicle, it was clear that it was mishandled... to the tune of $400. They refuse to take responsibility and this mistake appears to be a direct result of my sister in law declining unnecessary work on her vehicle. Centennial Subaru of Las Vegas NV handled my catalytic converter recall early this autumn. They further tried to sell me on well over $2k in services, most of which I'd already had done somewhere else. I declined all of those. I was fine with paying $0 for a recall. I had my tires replaced last week (something else they had tried to sell me on) and was found to have a lug bolt/stud ruined by a cross-threaded lug nut which was then tightened with a pneumatic tool. For one of the service items they had tried to sell to me, they had to remove the affected wheel to assess. I am now paying a garage that I trust, a garage that has taken good care of me for over 10 years, close to $400 to fix this so that l can drive safely. I cannot prove Centennial Subaru did this, but they were the the last to touch anything on my car before the tire replacement. If I could say "zero stars" or less, I definitely would. read more

This place honestly sucks. Some young salesman barely out of high school, Nikolai Draganov, tried ripping me off on a 2013-ish Honda Civic with near 100k miles a few months back. These guys wanted close to $17k for this car, and the car itself had damage and the interior was absolutely disgustingly dirty! Yet somehow they expected me to pay 17 grand? lol, okay. Hell, they claimed their cost to "clean" it was over $1000, which is bullshit considering the bloody stains that were on the back seat. Edit: For anyone actually reading this, they're calling me rude and abrasive (to which I challenge them to specify what I said to the salesman that was "rude and abrasive") to hide the fact they try to rip their customers off. Also, take a minute to ask yourself, what kind of reconditioning on this sort of car costs $3k? That's about 25% of what this car is actually worth. They claim I looked at the car BEFORE the interior reconditioning, yet the salesman explained the absolutely filthy interior as a result of them having "missed a few spots". So which is it? Hint: if you're going to lie, at least make sure your stories line up. We all know most dealerships are run by dishonest people. This one's no different. You know what's actually abrasive and rude? A $17k sale price for a dirty, abused car with 60k miles, just because it's a "dealership sale". Give me a break. read more

Sadly the next day I had an appointment at another dealership and well can't cry over spilled milk. This dealership is independently owned. The salesman also used many fear factors. Saying oh I worked at that dealership you want to go to and they won't give you a good deal. How do these people sleep at night. One thing the salesman also mgr gave me was an extended warranty but I already paid for their over priced warranty because finance said I should have it. I'm an elderly lady and I was hot, tired and worn out. This was my second trip to them so it is my own fault. They took the car in, and despite a miscommunication between me and the person that scheduled my appointment where I thought a loaner vehicle was reserved for me and there wasn't, they were very professional and were able to find me a loaner in time for me to get back to work that same day. We will never forget. For nearly a year now my family has been thinking about the car they basically stole from my elderly mother on an all cash deal for her (likely last) car purchase (of this lifetime). She went in for a new vehicle and told them them she did not want to trade her existing car, she wanted to keep it in the family, and by the end of two days of playing an intentionally exhausting and confusing game of numbers with her, based on unnecessary add ons and hidden fees, they managed to take her excellent condition used vehicle (she deeply cared for, over a decade) for penny's compared to what they almost immediately re-sold it for, when she was paying all cash for her new car from her remaining life savings, why would they encourage a trade in on an all cash deal? My mother devistated after the dust settled I called on her behalf (as her power of attorney) and gently asked for review and the opportunity to purchase back the vehicle for the trade amount, the used car manager John said he would sell it back to us, with some potential cost for inspection/repair, we understood and agreed. This began a long series of deceitful behavior from all sales reps involved dodging our follow ups and selling the vehicle to an internal friend of the dealership. In the end they pacified the situation with an extended warranty she will likely rarely, if ever, use. Just read that again and let it sink in, then consider 1 of a million other dealerships.
