I'd say that once or twice out of +20 times isn't too bad! Tonight we went for an early Christmas Eve dinner (as I won't be in Oldham for Christmas) and it was yet again delicious. I decided to have the venison but changed the wild berry and port sauce for the diane - the staff accepted this without a blink and both the meat and sauce were cooked to perfection and the plate was well and truly cleared! We also enjoyed some king prawns, garlic pizza bread (get the tomato it's scrumptious!), and the flat mushrooms with tomato and feta - NOM NOM NOM! A great night had as always - we'll be back!

They've been here for probably 20 years or more now, and the location of several of my family's celebratory meals in the past - it always seems to be bustling with diners inside. They've recently updated the menu to remain fresh with current tastes. Last night it was for a friend's birthday so we committed ourselves to having three courses :) We ordered two Pane all'aglio (garlic breads) - one with cheese, one with tomato, to munch on whilst we looked at the menu - they were so moreish. Most of us went for either meatballs or marinated ribs for starters. The portions are generous so be mindful if you've already had the aforementioned garlic breads! For mains, pasta and pizza features strongly (as you'd expect), but there are quite a few alternatives such as steaks and fish dishes. My ravioli, when sprinkled with parmesan and black pepper, was hearty and delicious. For dessert I ordered what ended up being one of the largest servings of tiramisu I'd ever seen; though it was so light and creamy it wasn't difficult to polish off! Despite it being very busy the service was efficient and friendly - we were well taken care of. They're an old local favourite that I'd recommend to others.

The place only opened fairly recently and since then we have been there at least three times. The pizzas, pastas and chicken dishes are amazing. The sangria is so good and contains so many fruit pieces. The staff cannot be mire helpful nd a me, for four people is around £150 pounds give or the drinks prices. The garlic bread is a favorite of mine and I for one could eat it all day. The only problem with this restaurant is that if you come from Royton the chance of seeing one of your neighbors is quite high, unfortunately means you have to say hI to people you barely know! The menu is extensive and has a good choice if different meals for anyone. ID you are planning on going you definitely have to book as it gets so busy, however this does bot shop there being exceptional service ad no delay in receiving your orders. They have a good range if desserts as well, ID you have room! Although hee you will not be as stuffed as at the restaurant own Rochdale rd nervous high barn junction. K realise that you could go to belivista or some fast food restaurant for a fraction of the price but I would say that if you want an Italian Mel to be worthwhile going out fir and with fenominal taste I would certainly recommend mazzo. Another bonus of mazzo is that if you are from Royton it is within walking distance and f not there is a huge carpal across from the entrance to the restaurant.
