Couldn't wait to take a picture before I took a bite. So tasty and the telera (bread) is so fresh and good which is what makes the cemita so much better. I've had cemitas from different places and this is by far the tastiest and so glad I found it on yelp. Had the combination of milanesa with cueritos. Only thing it was missing was papalo will ask next time. But definitely coming again my mom that's from Puebla also agrees this is the closest to a Cemita Poblana we have tried in LA.

I am honestly not sure how this truck/random residential house gets around LA zoning laws, but however they're doing it, I hope they keep doing it indefinitely. What awesome tortas! What a great summer night experience! Cemitas Poblanas is a truck parked in front of a house that's had its front porch repurposed to be a restaurant seating area of sorts. The truck is flanked by people selling DVDs and a television mounted on the house blares soccer games, or at least it was doing so the night we were there. It's also across from a park, so the overall effect is LOUD, extremely friendly, and beyond casual. A lady definitely ate her cemita sitting on the hood of my car. I ordered from the truck: a cemita de carnitas for me, and three things for greedy, hungry Julian: 2 quesadillas and one bean and cheese burrito. ("Just beans and cheese?" said the man in the window incredulously. "No meat? No rice? No vegetables?...") He gave me my receipt and instructed me to give it to a lady on the porch who stood behind a huge flat grill. She grilled the quesadillas and the truck cooked and assembled the cemita and the burrito. We strained to hear our number being called, but when it was, it was easy, because it was the only one called in English. The only cemita that comes close - or torta that comes close, even! - are the ones at La Cemita Poblana in Santa Ana. The ones here might even be better. They don't skimp on, well, anything. The papalo leaves spilling out of every corner barely hold in the huge avocado and fresh cheese bulges and crazy huge hunks of fall-apart pork keep cropping up where you least expect them. Entire chipotle chilies lurk in the darkest reaches and make you cry when you unexpectedly bite into one. Are there beans in the crevices of the bread? How is it so hearty? Who cares how? It was even good cold the next day, a feat not accomplished by any restaurant sandwich before or since, especially not one containing avocado. I think my sandwich cost $7, and we even got a free fireworks show, blasting off over south central LA even though it wasn't a holiday. At least not one I know of. Now, it's forever Cemita Day in my mind.

This is Pata ?? Looks like just Fat And what kind of cheese is this ??? noooo ZERO stars the Horchata Was good tho

I got a Cemita Pata de rez This Is Pata??! Looks like just the FAT , And what kind of cheese is this ? Noooooooooooo . Very disappointing, ZERO stars , the horchata Is pretty good but what's the point of naming it cemita Poblana If it's not even gonna be good

The cemitas are bomb! I like to have the milanesa one. Their cecina is also delicious as well as their quesadillas de flor de calabaza. If you're looking for some authentic poblano food this is the place to be!

I ordered the milanesa one with papalo and overall, it was very tasty but I did notice an off taste in the milanesa.

They are also one of the few places that carries a lot of other types of meat like birria, lengua, and more. I also really love coming here because they offer braised onions on the side. I always get 2 al pastor and 1 birria and have never disappointed. The food comes out super quick so you're never waiting for long. There's also a bar-like-table on the side where you can stand and eat your food with trashcans around to throw your plate away. Parking is really convenient since this place is located in the Ross parking lot. I've never had issues finding a spot, especially at night. The workers are always nice. They accept card, but the prices are cheaper if you pay in cash. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a late night taco spot!

What I believe is that they recycle the meat from their other food trucks. This location address at 110 w imperial los angeles . It's not a very popular place to get tacos. You don't have to give us low budget of meat. Kid that was helping outside and inside did not wash his hands only with water come on. I would never go back Refund please !!!!

The food ticket even has the wrong times so there is no accountability, food safety (gloves), refunds for terrible service, and it was about a long wait for basic things. To the owner: the receipt says 12:52am, I started waiting around 9:45pm. By the logic you gave me, it should take 3 hours to make 6 cookies? That doesn't make any sense. Any commercial cookie place pre-bakes their cookies to lower the wait time for their customers. I love hiphop, I love music blasting. I'm hard of hearing so if I can't even think straight from the sound after being particularly deaf that's something. How did I know they were not wearing gloves? I asked them 2-3 times during the allotted time and when they answered they were not wearing gloves. Went I went the final time to the window I was watching the worker put our cookies in a container without gloves and he handed them to me. We didn't even eat the cookies because I didn't see gloves on at any point of the process. The reason for the 0/5 stars is the service ordering was odd, no one greeted me, the lights were off when I ordered for a good while. The cookies took way longer when they could be pre-made to quicken the customer experience. More visibility of the windows to see the actual process of all the food would help customers feel rest assured basic food safety and prevention of cross contamination. And lastly, good customer service of all guests. We want good food, we want excellent cookies. That was not my experience, in any of the process. 7/20 update: As a customer, waiting 30 minutes to 2 hours for 6 cookies is way too long. Even if they are the best damn cookies I've ever had, no way am I waiting outside that long for them. I'm not telling you how to run your business, I'm giving you suggestions based on my terrible experience. Again, the cookies were so gross I left them in the trash can at the hotel we were staying at. It didn't matter if it was a woman owned, white owned, or anything, my experience was one of the worst experiences ever ordering, period.
