They told me, "No problem--just come in and we'll check to see if you're ready for the cleaning." I came in, they looked at my mouth for 10 minutes, and then charged me $140 for what they called a "check-up." No cleaning, no treatment--just a quick look. I didn't argue and paid it. They then scheduled the actual cleaning a month later. A day before that second appointment, they called to confirm and I specifically asked how much I needed to pay. They told me $128, which I accepted and rearranged my schedule to make it work. But when I arrived the next day, they suddenly said the cost was $350. When I asked why, they said, "Well, the $128 is for the cleaning, but since you're a new patient, you also have to pay for a full exam and x-rays." That extra cost was never mentioned during the confirmation call the day before--even though I asked specifically for the total. I explained that I had rescheduled business commitments to make this appointment and had already been in once and paid $140. Their only response was, "Sorry for the confusion." But they still expected me to pay the full $350. I left without getting treated. To make matters worse, my wife was there just two months ago as a first-time patient and paid only $128 for her cleaning--with no exam or x-rays. When I asked why, they said, "Oh, because she's pregnant, so we made an exception." So apparently they can make exceptions, but won't when they're the ones who made the mistake. This office is extremely disorganized, misleading, and unprofessional. They overcharge and don't communicate clearly with patients. They waste your time and don't take responsibility for their own errors. Sadly, it felt more like a scam than a professional dental visit. I do not recommend this office to anyone. Avoid Dean L. Brown, DDS--there are plenty of better, more transparent practices out there.

My bridge had come out while chewing gum, and I expected a quick recement job. A simple bridge recement should not cost $230 or take over an hour to complete.

Dr. Silverstein has been so welcoming and warm, great at his dental work, and has no problem answering any of my many questions. But in addition to that, literally every employee I've interacted with has been nothing but professional and courteous. Our hygienist, Naz, has been impeccable. She spoke about the health of my teeth with transparency and kindness. And Judy (the g.o.a.t.), who helped me handle my billing over the phone, couldn't have been more helpful and patient. She walked me through my itemized bill, and then even called my insurance on my behalf when things needed more clarification. She called me back with the news that they were going to write off some of my older dental work, and I genuinely could have cried knowing that I was spared the bill that I was. Top to bottom excellent service, with people who are genuine and are clearly on YOUR team. Please consider coming here for your dental work, you will NOT regret it.

Incompetent, Unethical & Dangerous!…read more This incompetent clown Dr. Shahram "Shawn" Hosseini allowed his unqualified assistant who clearly wasn't even familiar with the x-ray machine to attempt 1st visit x-rays, actually a CT scan, to start the implant process but ended in DISASTER! When the lead apron didn't cover my neck, I asked if they had any thyroid protection. The assistant fished around in a cupboard and produced some sort of a collar-looking thing, so we proceed with the scan. When it finished, they walk me across to another room and "Dr." Shahram finally appears after not having had even the minimum courtesy to introduce himself to a new patient prior. He says the collar ruined the x-ray and they shouldn't have used it and I should be happy to do it again. This is a big problem for me as I strive to avoid any excess x-rays, being seventy years old and having had plenty of non-digital x-rays in my life already. So when I ask him why his staff doesn't know better than to allow the patient to dictate a procedure that ultimately ruins the process, he tells me "Because you asked for it." As if that's an answer. He then goes on to lecture me that more x-rays are "perfectly safe", that "he knows better," that their machine produces "no more x-rays than a banana" (his words) and that it's actually my fault (!). Unbelievable. It goes downhill from there. For my own safety, I flee to find a competent dentist with a competent staff. According to Wikipedia, a banana produces about 0.1uSv of non-cumulative ionizing radiation (very, very little) while according to the NIH, a dental CT x-ray scan exposes the patient to between 19 µSv to 1073 µSv, of CUMULATIVE ionizing radiation depending on various factors. SO HE OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME. I'd say that's more than a banana. Like 200x to 10,000x more. When I asked the technician what exposure settings she was using, she read some numbers off the machine and when I asked what that meant she said "I don't know." True. Verbatim. Be careful.
