I cannot recommend Dr. Summy Abbassi and his team enough! He is truly down to earth and genuinely cares about his patients. Long story short, I first went to another dentist after my tooth cracked deeply. They told me it couldn't be saved and removed half of my tooth without my consent, and insisted I needed an implant at an outrageous price. Very frustrated and unhappy, I remembered Dr. Abbassi, whom I had seen in the past but stopped visiting because I had moved far away, aslo my previous insurance wasn't in network. Thankfully, with my new insurance now in his network made the decision easier, and I'm so glad I returned! It was the best decision ever, and absolutely worth the long drive. When he saw what the other dentist had done to my tooth, he was really upset and said "Pulling out a tooth is the last option I want for my patients!" Unlike the previous place, he focused on saving my tooth rather than rushing to remove it. Thanks to his expertise, I was able to get a crown instead of implant, saving me a lot of money, and most importantly, saving my natural tooth. He's truly an ANGEL!! It's been about three months now, and my tooth feels about 98% comfortable, even with hard caramel candy (though I'm still being careful, as he said full healing takes about six months). When he sanded the bonded tooth, he sanded it so thin that it cracked the following week. We have been going to Dr. Abbassi for the past 4 years. Every time we go to see him we are treated like VIPs. He always greets us with such sincerity. My husband is 85 years old and I am 79 years old. So we have gone through a lot of dentists. Dr. Abbassi is one of a kind. His work is magnificent. Before we met with him we had been looking for months for a dentist. Every one of these dentists either wanted an arm and a leg or they didn't make us feel confident.
